The volunteer page gives a couple of the perks of being a volunteer, but it also says there are other perks that aren't mentioned. What kind of other perks are there? How far is the walk to Centeroo from the volunteer campground? And also does the volunteer campground allow for your car to be parked with you or is it tent-only? I'm sure these questions have been answered but there are 65 pages of knowledge I have been working through slowly.
It's a 20 min walk from the volunteer campground to the Arch. Last year they added a path between VIP and the What Stage field that made the walk a bit shorter. The walk seems longer by Sunday.
You'll be camping with your vehicle. A space roughly 8 feet by 20 will be marked off. Most folks set up the tent right behind their car/truck.

I'd give it until at least Monday! My girlfriend and I both applied on Monday, and had our replies on Friday. I sent in my deposit immediately and got my assignment right after. She sent in her deposit at probably 6pm and still hasn't gotten her assignment. So, I assume they might just take the weekends off

Hell yeah, i'm super amped. I've been counting down the days, and i've even made sure all my friends not only get parking but have the same bands, and we used inforoo's confirmed artist list to try to make sure our volunteer shifts are Wed/Thurs.
If you are a during show volunteer, can you come early with pre-show volunteers and just hang out until you're needed? Me and my friends want to carpool together but might get different shifts
I'm guessing since pre-show checks in on Sunday instead of Tuesday that they won't let a during-show volunteer check in until Tuesday and therefore you won't have your wristband, shirt, meal tokens, etc to be ready to go on the farm. The parking passes displayed on the dash might even say it.
I'd call them and try to get pre-show with your friend and ask them to be sure that's the case. They're probably going to be strictly allowing pre-show only, and keep in mind if you get parking/toll booths you camp in a completely different area than all the other volunteers.

Amber, I remember you saying you found out it was during fest, I just got messed up a few posts ago and had to backtrack a bit and that's probably why I had it wrong. Fixed now.
I don't want to post this a ton and take up room so I try to write the update time in here and write what people add in and every now and then repost the whole thing after I've added a few updates or if it's not on the last page anymore. We may make a separate thread for this or find a way to post this list in the beginning of this whole thread, on Page 1. Will let you know if/once any changes will occur. In the meantime, just look for the most recent list and hopefully I can keep it updated daily and accurately.

First time Bonnaroo attendee & first time volunteer. I got my application approved last week but because of car troubles, I had to use my original deposit money to cover the costs of repair. I'll be paying my deposit on Thursday and (hopefully) getting my assigned c'roo quickly!

When you press Reply or Quote, you can go into the detailed Create Post mode where you can add smileys from a list, center things, bold, etc... on the bottom of the text box area there are 2 tabs. 1 is Visual and next to it is BBCode. You wont see this when you just scroll to the bottom and type in the box (quick reply). Another way to get to it is to click Edit on a post you wrote.
Sorry for not clarifying earlier. I assume some people (especially those new to inforoo) rarely go in the Create Post area vs Quick Reply at the bottom of the thread.

The best thing you can do is call and ask to be sure: 865-523-2665 It's through AC Entertainment. Say you have questions about volunteering at Bonnaroo and you should be led to the right person. They already.announced though that there are no more prefest spots open so changing to prefest isn't an option anymore.

Sent in my deposit a bit ago but still don't have specifics about what Croo I'll be on. . . getting antsy. . . Really wanted to do prefest and I'm thinking about forgoing the whole thing if they have me parking cars (no offense to those of you doing that--it's just I'd rather do something that might use my degree/look good on a resume).
