I got accepted to be a volunteer and paid my deposit yesterday! Still waiting on my C'roo assignment. Anybody else volunteering by themselves? I need a friend
I'm paying my deposit on Thursday & volunteering solo, as well.

That's what I'm thinking, Ellie. Pool our resources. Though, I'm kinda looking forward to having a campsite to myself. I know I'll be surrounded by others, but what originally brought me to volunteering was that a family member of mine was talking about going too and wanted to come along with me. I am too non-confrontational and couldn't just say, "No, I don't want to share a campsite/travel with you/pick up your crap all weekend/be your maid". So, I found out about volunteering, which I knew he wouldn't want to do.......and voila, here I am

Me and about three or more of my friends will be volunteering together but I'm sure that I'll meet all of you there and you are welcome to hang out with us and stuff!
Volunteering solo as well. Come on by and say "hi" and grab a Bloody Mary if in the AM or a sip of homemade banana brandy in the afternoon. Beer will be in a "help yourself cooler" 24/7.

Volunteering solo as well. I always try to assist others camped around me as much as I can by sharing the shade tent, food, etc. The pre-fest group has been pretty limited in number (maybe less than 200) and it's nice getting to know and work with others before the during fest volunteers arrive on Tuesday. The way the festival builds around you from Sunday afternoon to Thursday is just amazing.

I had a friend that did "midfest" last year when we worked through WET and I think she said she went to a hotel where artists were at 1 point to help (sort of like the Support C'roo that gets moved around where needed) and I think she saw someone there. I forget who. I'm not educated enough on who's who, so I wouldn't have known if it was them. It's possible though... You never know.

Oh, and I'm Andrea!
I assisted with setting up Roll Like a Rock Star last year before everyone arrived on Thursday. The buses uses are super nice and stocked with food that is ordered by the patrons in advance. I'd say it's likely you meet a sports figure or celebrity that is treating their friends/family to the Bonnaroo experience.

I also have two friends named ryan and mike who have also been assigned during show croo for artist and hospitality, between toddd and amber from recent posts, and me and my two friends we may already know a decent portion of our croo haha. I'm a long time lurker, first time poster
Hmm... I just realized what my ID # was. I'm 27 (which is ironic cause that's how old I'll be). I wonder if that's related to how soon someone applied or your ID # is assigned based on C'roo or something.
I was tempted to say we could try to do a group meetup, but it's tricky with separated camps, even if we try at check-in, since people will be there at all different times (and pre-show is still there earlier on Sunday vs Tuesday for during-show). I'm hoping they'll do a BBQ check-in evening again and we could maybe plan something for then. Put faces to the names We'll see.
Lurker turned poster here... So my gf and I didn't get prefest as we had hoped and are on artist hospitality during show. First, like Jeff I was wondering if anyone has information about this croo?
Second, this is a big roo for me because I'm planning on proposing while there. Naturally I want to be able to spend the majority of the weekend with my gf celebrating, not working. Which is why I was hoping prefest would work out. Since it didn't, I'm wondering how hard it would be to transfer to cleanup crew. Does any one know anything about this or the process? We don't mind staying later or more work, just trying to avoid missing shows we want the weekend I propose...
Unfortunately the cleanup crew is run by clean vibes and you're not allowed to switch your application from crew to clean vibes. It's two different processes you would have to get a refund from crew and reapply to clean vibes you would lose the $50 of what you already paid to Bonnaroo
