Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
"If you're receiving this email it's because you are a During-Show C'roo member for Bonnaroo. Here's the skinny on check-in times. Everyone will have to check-in at on offsite location before you come to the site. We'll send out details as we get closer with the address of the high school where this takes place and directions on how to get there.
These check-in times are based on last name. If for some reason you can't make it during your check-in time that's ok as long as you can make it during one of the other times. We're just trying to thin out the crowd so not everyone shows up at the same time. Parking and Tollbooth C'roos will check-in at a slightly different time than everyone else. So, based on your last name you would need to check-in on Tuesday, June 11th at:
Nice job on the google map Ellie! Can u please add me? Im working for clean vibes and have to be there for both pre and post and I need a ride. Im coming from Chantilly Va, thanks!

Hey, neighbor! There's a pre-fester going down from Alexandria, VA (htfoster12). If you can rideshare, maybe you could just get a bus one-way home if you don't find someone that's driving back up near DC after your post-fest shifts (even people goin to NY and whatnot could probably make it work). kainiac is also picking up a friend in Philly and heading down pre-show.
Let me know if you want to be added to the Google Doc
If anyone is from or passing through New York, then we'd love to catch the ride. We are two 20somethings with cash to offer and the intent to have a fantastic time. We have to get there on the 11th as we are volunteering. The upside to volunteering, though, is that we won't require a place to sleep. So if you have room for two plus luggage LET US KNOW.
Thanks, Dominique and Meaghan
doobiebox, please feel free to write more in this Volunteering thread
Thanks for the offer un4given I have to be there by 6/11 what date do u have to be onsite by? If its after that I'm going to ask htfoster12 cause he has to pass this way anyway. I besides the fact I have to pack lighter the bus works nicely for me.

If you gotta be there the 11th, that's the same as us during show folks... we check in Tuesday june 11th. Pre show is Sunday the 9th. You can see our check in times listed a few posts above this.
If that's the case, then you can probably join my group from Herndon if youre ok leaving Monday june 10th and staying at a hotel down near Manchester...but we leave Monday to head back home so you'd need a different ride home.
[EDIT:] Talked to Jason, and looks like we've got another person in our caravan (for the ride down at least)
Is anyone willing to pass through northern Virginia/DC suburbs and help spread out our group and gear on the ride down Monday morning, June 10th? ...Or have room to pick someone up from NY (Governor's Ball volunteer) or if she gets a bus to DC or something??
Jason joined my caravan and we now have 3 to a car as it is. This other girl, Kate, needs a ride down and is headed back to Chicago after Roo, so it'd only be one-way. We can probably sleep people here Sunday night, if necessary... Right now, me and my bf have to drive separately cause we need to take our 2 cars and no one else wants to drive their cars (or their cars can't fit as much as our 4-door sedans).
PM me if you think you can help, please!!
PS. If anyone's doing post-fest and can give a ride to someone headed back to Maryland, also PM me for that. He doesn't want to resort to forfeiting his deposit and leaving with his friend that's a GA camper. A ride to Knoxville for Megabus to DC or something could probably even work too...

Hi there, question about volunteer camping! We are during-show croo and carpooling with a guy who is post-show croo. Would we get our own tent spot in the volunteer area during-show, and he would camp on his own in GA until post-show?
I guess what I'm asking is if we only get one tenting spot per car even if we are volunteering on different croo's, and the during-show group wouldn't have a car. Any help??

One camping space per car for volunteers, just how it is in GA.

I was under the impression that post-show cannot check in on Tuesday with during-show...and he'd have to wait to come in like the rest of GA on Wednesday afternoon/night.
Make sure you guys don't get stranded or anything... Do you have a different ride back home since he's got shifts after Monday 3pm when the grounds close to everyone else?
Hey guys. Names Jason, I'm a 4th year returning volunteer. Wanted to say what's up and add my info to the google doc if possible. My girlfriend and I are both during show check in volunteers from the New York City/long island area. Her name is Kaya. Our car plans feel thru so if anyone is working during or prefest and driving from this area we would love to car pool. I'm waiting to hear back about the guroo position and am pretty optimistic about it. Would change our travel plans but I feel great about finding a ride for her and myself with you guys. I found one last year from New York and was a great experience. Ayway I hope to hear from some of you guys and we'll see the rest of you on the farm!

Anyone interviewing for the GuRoo positions or have any idea what they actually entail? I saw the earlier post with more details, but I'm wondering if I'd still get to work w/ the Roll Like a Rock Star croo. . . I want to drive that golf cart. . .
Watchin' a stretch of road, miles of light explode. Driftin' off a thing I'd never done before. Watchin' a crowd roll in. Out go the lights it begins. A feelin' in my bones I've never felt before...

Hey Guys. i am traveling with some friends who are not volunteering. is there anywhere to camp local for one night, since they aren't allowed in until wed night?
Hey everyone! Just wanted to introduce myself - my name is Andrew and I'm a first time volunteer. Driving from Delaware and scheduled for the Partner Activities Croo (during show). If you could add me to the map or the google doc that would be cool.

I'm volunteering pre show...do pre show volunteers still get meal tokens?
It should be the same. Though, I think when I looked back at the perks again recently, they didn't have the tokens written in, I think. Hopefully we still get that. I think I remember getting 3 tokens total and a boxed meal on shift. Pre-show would just have to wait to use them until more vendors open, I think.
Then again, I guess post-show wouldn't get any tokens if they check in after the fest? Hmm...
Hey all! My name's Liz. This year is my second year at Bonnaroo and my second year volunteering. Last year I lucked out and got a Midfest (2 12 hour shifts, one pre- and one during-fest...but it was only Thursday) volunteer position but they've sadly discontinued that. This year, I'm during-fest office administration. Can't wait to see you all there! PM me if you're working during-fest office admin.

Anyone who has WORKED PRE SHOW BEFORE that can answer a question for me??: I've worked at fests before where pre show volunteers still had to work a little during show, does this happen at Roo? I'm pre show access.
For the new members joining us here, if you want to be in the Google Doc spreadsheet listing all the volunteers that have given their info to work out rides, meet up, see who's got the same C'roo as you, etc...here's the info I'd need for you to be on it:
- The email you want to access with - Your C'roo (make sure you tell me if pre/during/post show and the name of the Croo) - Your first name - How many people you're going with - Phone number (if you wish to share) - Location (city) and - Facebook url (If you wish to share)
** Sending me a PM is best so your private info is not visible to the public/non-members and whatnot.
Also, this is a reminder that I've also gotten together a Google Map of everyone's locations (with notes saying if pre/during/post show). That map can be found here: goo.gl/maps/bgJnc (I've posted this link at the top of the Google Doc, by the way)

I've worked pre-show for the last three years and we've been given tokens. That said, things change each year and this is the first year since 09 that Bonnaroo is coordinating the volunteers so I cannot say for certain we'll get them this time.

Pre-show means your work shifts will be done by the time the festival opens on Thursday.
I hope we get our work schedules soon so that we can start planning our lineup schedules
I know! When do the schedules usually come out? At first I was just afraid of missing Haim on Thursday since I'm doing tollbooth, but now since they're doing day passes I'm freaking out about everything including The National on Sunday.

We didn't used to get our schedules in advance the past few years with WET. I'm pretty happy I can prep myself for the shifts we get and have time to talk to others and swap, if necessary. They just told us they'd come out "mid to late May"
For toll booths, they told me you'd have your 12-hour shift guaranteed Wed, Thurs, or Fri. The other 6-hour shift leftover could be anytime through Sunday. Hopefully if you have a bad conflict, you can swap with someone. It made a little more sense to me why they didn't stick with last year's ending time guaranteed on Friday now. If there are a decent number of people doing day tickets, they could need more staffing at the toll booths.
Personally, I'm really hoping I don't have a conflict with Milo Greene Thursday afternoon. I started listening to them cause I saw them on the initial lineup and then got hooked, and a friend has said they're really good live.
