Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Just wanted to send another update about the C'roo Schedules. They are now all finished! So how do you read them?
First, you'll want to either go to your Calendar or MyShifts. Then you'll see your schedule. You should see time of your shift, then the name of your C'roo, then your name, and either C'roo HQ, C'roo Compound, or if you're on the Tollbooth or Parking C'roos, it will say Tollbooth Check-in.
So...the time. That's the actual time of your shift. Remember that you'll always want to show up 15-30 minutes early so that we can get you checked in. The early morning shifts are especially important to try and get there at least 30 minutes early. If your time is for example Saturday at 1am-7am....that means literally Saturday at 1am...so watch Paul McCartney on Friday night, wait a couple of hours and then it's time for your shift.
The three locations (C'roo HQ, C'roo Compound, or Tollbooth Check-in) that's where you'll go to check-in for that Shift. Don't go straight to your work area, you must go to your check-in location first. C'roo HQ is located at 1st and Woodland across from the Main C'roo Camping area. C'roo Compound is located in Centeroo across from the Ferris Wheel Tollbooth Check-in is located at the West Toll Booth.
Then, you can click on the shift and get the details of the shift. Specifically the room/floor. That location is where you'll actually be working. This is important to look at because yes, we may have scheduled you to work during one of the bands that you wanted to see, but maybe, just maybe, we scheduled you to work at or around the stage they're playing on.
We hope that everyone is happy with their schedules but we're realistic and know that not everyone will be. We will be opening up the Trade Boards tomorrow and will send out instructions on how to use them as soon as they're ready to go. Please keep in mind that we did our absolute best to schedule you both with the friends you listed and around the bands that you listed....for 3,000+ volunteers that was no easy task. So hopefully you understand if we screwed up here and there.
Just think, in two weeks, we'll all be on the farm together!

Email just now...great call out for Ellie's hard work trying to organize us!!
Hey Everyone,
Hopefully everyone is figuring out the whole tradeboard thing. Trust us, we're on just as much of a learning curve.
Now, let's get you ready to come to site!
First and foremost, this is a reminder that you are fully responsible for all of your own camping equipment and transportation to both check-in and to the site. If you're still looking for a ride, we suggest zimride.com or we've heard that there are some helpful people on the volunteering thread on inforoo.com trying to coordinate people together.
You will start camping as soon as you get to the site, no need to look for a hotel or anything ahead of time.
Remember absolutely no open-toed shoes when you're working so be sure to pack appropriate footwear. We'll also be providing you with a volunteer t-shirt to wear whenever you're working.
Ok, now about this off-site check-in location. Everyone must come there first before going to the festival site.
Off-site check-in is located at Coffee County Central High School 100 Red Raider Drive Manchester, TN 37355 (located on Route 55)

Don't forget about our preferred arrival times which are posted on the front page of shiftboard when you log-in.
We'll have more and more info for you in the next week or so! Can't wait to see you all there!
I already knew it'd be the same location, so I put a special pin for the high school check-in location on the Google Map.
- Those of you that somehow find this because the email referenced Inforoo.com (YAY!), please feel free to write in here and also on the Facebook group here: www.facebook.com/groups/581925741840980/ - People are still updating themselves on the Google Map: goo.gl/maps/2s4yt (there's also a link in the Google Doc) and - To get access the Google Doc, I'll need your email. PM me on here, find me on Facebook and message me there, or just email me at ellie.alikhani@gmail.com
I wonder if they'll find the time to do those online orientation videos... and if we'll have a proper orientation at a set time on site. Hmm...

Has anyone ever volunteered with Headcount? I've done Clean Vibes and WET, but never Headcount. I was looking at going with them for some other fests this summer.
HI AGAIN EVERYONE! So I just have another question I was hoping one of you previous volunteers may know the answer to. Can my friends from General Admission come visit at my camp site? not camp with us or anything but just hangout in the volunteering camping with us?

I have 8 more "sleeps" until I leave for Bonnaroo and I'm KINDA FREAKING OUT!
Currently, I'm in Arizona on 5 week trip to visit family and see the beautiful southwest. It's been awesome, but I only left myself 3 days to prepare for a week at Roo. We leave here Wed 6/5, get home to Illinois late on Thurs 6/6. Then I need to get the car I'm taking to Roo serviced, gather all the camping gear that is being loaned to me by friends/family, grocery shop, pre-cook/freeze certain foods, do laundry, pack everything, then hit the road on Mon 6/10 to head to my sister's in Thompsons Station, Tn to spend the night. More preparations are to be made there, like buy dry ice, get the jugs of water my sis has kindly gathered and frozen, etc. Not only do I have to prepare myself for a week of camping in the span of 3 days, but I have my 9 y/o daughter to pack for as well (she'll be staying at my sister's house). I've done what I could while in Arizona by making To Do Lists for myself.....it seems I add to them daily.
Whew! Sorry y'all, I just needed to think out loud (vent) a bit.....

Don't stress out too much about forgetting something. As long as the basics are covered - tent to stay dry, food (or enough money to buy food), clothes - there will be plenty of options available to account for everything else. I'm sure you'll have great neighbors in Tollbooth Camping willing to help.

You'll be fine. I'm one of your tollbooth mates and I tend to over pack. I always end up w/extra water, food, and booze. I'm driving a truck, so if there is anything you need me to bring just PM me. David
Hey, so I am working pre-show with a couple friends and Im pumped! But my girlfriend and her friends got during show so they will be arriving tuesday. I really want them to be able to camp with us and was wondering if I can save a little room for them? If not how big is the volunteer camping area in pod 1? I am just worried that finding each other will be a nightmare :/

The Volunteer Campground is probably close to the size of two football fields side by side so it won't be hard to find your girlfriend's camp.
It's going to be challenge to save a space for others because folks handling the parking try to ensure no open spots are left when the pre-show volunteers arrive. There will be plenty of space before the during-show folks arrive but it will get filled in quickly Tuesday afternoon. One option would be to move your camp to beside hers that afternoon but that would be quite a bit of work assuimg you and your friends are not working a shift at that time.
I'm new to Bonnarroo and I'm volunteering with Access this year, but I've had some difficulties come up with my work shifts. I've been messing around with the Tradeboard recently, and I picked a night shift from 1am to 7am that I wanted, but stupidly did so without getting rid of another shift. Now, I'm signed up for 24 hours of volunteering. Is there anyway to drop a shift on Shiftboard that anyone has figured out? As much as I want to be a part of putting on the festival, I also want to get to experience the bands and not work straight for two days.

I actually just emailed them about this today. If you have over your hours that you should have (extra shifts) then they'll take away a shift though they cant guarantee which shift it would be (ie wont necessarily be the one you're trying to trade). If you're missing shifts, they'll add hours. Basically you'll have 18 hours regardless (assuming you're during show).

Awesome, thank you! I've got my band schedule set, so as long as this resolves itself I should be good. I'm really glad I found this board; besides solving this problem it's an awesome resource to get ready for next week!
I've been to the past 5 Bonnaroos, planned on going this year but had no one to go with, so I sold the ticket. Now, that's its a week away, I feel like I NEED to go. I've been thinking about volunteering, but not sure if I'm trying to plan this too last minute. Suggestions? Edit: Question, website says for Clean Vibes DURING SHOW, you gotta be there on Tuesday, but when Tuesday? Also, I'll be driving from Ohio, probably alone, if that helps with suggestions.

So, I was planning on bringing (food-wise) only breakfast and snacks and just buying lunch and dinner in Centeroo every day, but according to the training video it looks like we have to stay in the volunteer campsite until everything opens on Thursday. Does this mean there is no food available to purchase until Thursday? I'm going shopping for food tomorrow so if anyone knows about this please reply so I will know if I need to buy lunch and dinner as well.

Definitely come prepared with food to eat Wednesday! They encourage you to stay at your campsite but I've always wandered around, but nothing will really be open Wednesday in centeroo!

Yes, that is correct. But, they'll have a BBQ for all the vols on Tues afternoon. It's usually between 5-8p. So, you'll need to pack for lunch and dinner on Tues and break/lunch on Wed and breakfast Thursday.
