I don't know that im going to have enough time to see anyone else. As I listen to the lineup I keep finding people I want to see. If they add much more It will just put me in more of a bind.
City On Down (any time now live version). Wonderful Day. Night Shift. Lay Down. 52-60. Heard The Wold is a classic. and of course CRAZY GAME OF POKER!!!!!!!!!! check out the live version of that from Any Time Now. how bout a revolution!?
O.A.R. would be a great time at roo i've yet to see them and they were the soundtrack to senior year in highschool my fingers are crossed for their addition.

Roadkill Ghost Choir would be pretty sick....seeing that name pop up on some festivals recently and I'm digging their tunes a lot...not sure where they are around Roo plus there is already a ton of bluegrassy type music but really....can there ever be too much bluegrass????
I would explode with happiness if Smashing Pumpkins got added. But i just dont see it happening. They are too big a name to be an addition, plus they dont really fit in with the rest of the lineup. When would they play...What stage pre-mccartney?
1.Beck(fingers crossed!) 2.Sound Garden(plz!!!!) 3.Smashing Pumpkins!!!!!!!!!! 4.Primus 5.Jack White
I don't want to sound too pessimistic, but please don't get your hopes up for these, because it will suck when the additions do come, and regardless of whether there's some quality adds you'll be disappointed because no one that big is added.
Wish list 1 Pete Seeger (hey a guy can dream can't he) 2 George Cinton (see #1) 3 Ringo Starr and his All Starr Band(see #1) 4 Wllie Nelson 5 Smokey Robinson
Realistically
Tao Rodriguez Seeger and the mammals Zoogma Swedish house Mafia (ok not Ralistic)

In 2013 Billy Corgan is far from being too big of a name to be an addition. The only way Smashing Pumpkins would pre-headline for McCartney is if it was the original lineup. The way things stand now, this would be about like Counting Crows getting added to the lineup.

I don't really get many chances to do musician name drops but I once met Andrew McMahon and got to help arrange stuff for an OAR after party and I would just like to say, what a great guy. Very grateful, humble dude.
Hoping we'll get a semi large act like MGMT or YYY's. A few solid indie acts like Caveman, Youth Lagoon, Foxygen, or Unknown Mortal Orchestra would put this thing over the top. Oh and could we possibly get Hulk Hogans wrestling boot band?

OAR's music falls pretty flat though
I feel bad for even bringing up OAR, because I'm not a big fan either, it's really just about McMahon, especially since he's releasing is solo stuff really soon.
and Boston - I've met him a couple of times too, (even taught him how to play Kings once...THAT was fun!) and yes he is such an awesome guy. I wish every musician could pull off his grace.

That's exactly what I thought. I see them pre-headlining into Petty so that would be a top-10 add most likely
Interesting. I thought I remembered somebody claiming that they were asked but wanted to work on an album or something but who knows if that was true. Also, I'm sure these things are pretty fluid and the band could have turned it down but Roo loves them and begged or offered more money or something. Definitely seems like them and Portugal. The Man are being pushed hard by Bonnaroo as favorites.
If not this year, they'll definitely be upgraded to a good slot next year.
It would probably be about as different as MS was from 2010 to 2011.
I don't know exactly what the setlists look like for the Shakes but I know they have a new album mostly written and have been playing a lot of the songs live.
