If u like these additions your a dumbass simple as that and no wasn't expecting a headliner but was expecting to see a couple bands that people have actually heard of before and I was expecting lots of dubstep or at least techno to make up for the weak quacking selection this year that makes bass heads wanna throw up when they think about how amazing last years selection was
Aren't there other music festivals where you can get all the "womp womp" music you desire. Don't shiz all over Bonnaroo because they have music 80,000 other people undoubtedly enjoy. You know they could throw pretty much anybody in the lineup and it won't make Bonnaroo any less enjoyable.

I go back to bonnaroo first for the experience and second for the music. I don't work for bonnaroo, but if they are hiring I'd gladly accept a position, and of course I am let down with the additions but that isn't anyone's fault, the only thing that would have made me jump for joy at the additions was to see the letter "D" followed by "aft Punk" but that is super unrealistic. But that all depends on your definition of let down. I am for one excited that MAYBE JUST MAYBE, one of these bands that "people have never heard of" turn out to give an amazing live show. Potential to be a Bonnaroo classic you never know.
Book big artists people complain it is "too mainstream" book small artists and the festival is "crappy" book middle of the road artists and someone will complain it's not big enough. Someone will always complain, just don't ruin the experience for everyone else. As long as you can still walk around the farm with a smile on your face that's all that should matter.

Pretty hyped about EOTS.
Also hyped about a lot of the cafe artists, or club artists whatever. Alice & the Glass Lake, Capital Cities, Cat Martino, Cloney, Luxury Liners, Mac DeMarco, Maps & Atlases, On An On, and William Tyler are all hidden gems.

I'm hoping petty brings out a guest again. In 06 he brought out Stevie nicks and I almost had a heart attack. I also hope he jams some traveling willburys.

If you don't like it, don't buy it... plenty of festivals to choose from this year.
also, GMO= Genetically Modified Organisms- no need to add "MODIFIED" to the end.
Just when I wonder why trolls keep trolling, I see this^^^^. I took it to be bad sarcasm rather than trolling, but the result appears to be the same in this case - anger and unbridled seriousness following a jokey comment. Oh dear, I guess the anticlimactic additions have a lot of us kind of worked up. Empire of the Sun and Solange were the "big" name adds, hmm... and I had high hopes
It's Bonnaroo so a good time is a guarantee but I'm all let down and junk about these adds. Not across the board upset but I am no more excited than I was before. I was hoping for some kind of secondary announcement while I was at work but meh. Looks like I'm strapping on my walking shoes this year and doing some friend hunting out in tent universe. I'll certainly have some free time.

Do not miss SIMO. I've only seen him play guitar with the Don Kelley Band at Robert's Western World in Nashville, but holy quack that dude can play the guitar!
