He's My Brother, She's My Sister Lots of tour left! Playin One Eyed Jacks in New Orleans tonight. (Full schedule on website). Also just confirmed a Bonaroo performance. Good stuff on the horizon. Enjoy the oscars.

I enjoyed some of their tunes, but was disappointed at the live show. Saw them last year at a festival and they seemed like they were trying too hard to be the folkie White Stripes. Although I give them credit - they actually ARE brother and sister. Maybe they've improved since their album's been out, though.

So don't get me wrong I'm excited for Sir Paul and Mumford but pretty disapointed so far there are no jambands. Really hoping the additions consist of some jammier bands.
Hopes for additions
Trey Anastasio Band Furthur or Phil & Friends Black Crowes Ben Harper Allman Brothers Tedeschi Trucks Band moe. Keller Williams String Cheese Incident Umphrey's Robert Randolph John Butler Trio Grace Potter
Other bands I'm hoping for O.A.R., Dirty Guv'nahs, Assembly Of Dust, Amos Lee, Ray Lamontange, Robert Plant, Gregg Allman, Buddy Guy, Johnny Lang

Cafe Act?
I would imagine so. Hob - Hate to hear you had a bad experience. When I saw them open for Edward Sharpe they blew us all away. The cute girl that tap dances on the box is great. I am seeing them Tuesday night with Paper Bird & Shakey Graves. Should be a good one!

Based on this description there is no way in hell I'm going to like this band.

1st Post Ever & 1st trek to Tennessee! I'm so excited to be attending this festival! IMO the lineup is stellar, but if we're wishing then I'd love to see any of these bands
Sigur Ros Yeah Yeah Yeahs The Wheeler Brothers Two Door Cinema Club

It happens. I give every band at least 2 chances - usually more. I certainly understand the vagaries involved in a live show. I'll give them a try down the road and be happy to reform my opinion, if called for. Enjoy the show.

I was going to google them until I read those two sentences.

Pretty sure Sigur Ros and TDCC are both booked that weekend overseas.

Hah! It's not what you are thinking! It's not like some Tony Danza crap. She's just mixed in with the rhythm section and something fun to watch. Like a hype man but cute and dancing on a box. They are similar to Edward Sharp, so if you don't like that sorta happy stuff you probably wouldn't like HMBSMS.
This. Was really hoping Grimes would be there. Here's to hoping she's an addition.
I'm almost positive her booking manager told someone in the Artist Direct Confirm thread that Grimes is not going to be at Roo. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. I would've liked her a lot as well.
Hmm, just took a look at the Artist Direct Confirmation thread and didn't see Grimes listed in the denial section. Whether this means it's still an unknown, or she just never got added to the No list, I don't know. Here's to hoping though!
Eels? I'm just grasping at straws here but The Eels are booked through April then nothing after that. Please won't somebody think of the Eels?!?!
Would love to see Eels at Bonnaroo, but it doesn't seem like E is a big fan of festivals. They've only played a handful in the 15+ or so years he's been releasing albums.

Emoney serves more of a purpose than any of you, especially Nate, whose incessant, garbled ramblings are so mindless and pointless that I get depressed just seeing them.

I was kinda wondering about that. I never remember seeing Eels on any festival lineups. It's my dreamy little dream that it'll happen on the farm, but god knows there would probably be an incomprehensibly awful conflict. So I hope he stays away now...but not really. I'm starting to get genuinely concerned about conflicts for bands THAT AREN'T EVEN CONFIRMED YET.
