When I split with my bitch of an ex she left to be with her new guy. Then a week or two later I got texts saying that I had to give her the TV or the iPod we bought together for our apartment. She didn't mention the dog we adopted together or any real sentimental stuff. She just decided that she deserved something out of the whole deal.

Her perspective was she gave half the money when buying things originally (or it was a gift). So she felt she deserved it. Really it was just her and her new guy talking themselves into being "wronged" somehow. I initially fought it and was saying that she chose to leave so she'd deal with it but soon after I gave her the iPod because I just didn't want to talk/deal with it. I was an emotional wreck and I didn't want any contact from her anymore. I got a new iPod and hope I never hear from her again.
