Ah, that's awesome. Hopefully, the cabin will come together before then.
Who is in charge of the cabin rental? We'd definitely go in for that if there is room for two more.
That would be me, but honestly the cabin is looking less and less likely by the hour. Unless I find something really nifty in the next two weeks, my friends and I are probably going the hostel route.
They are holding off on reservations for october until July 1st. The only thing is that there are only 42 beds available of different quality, and the person that I spoke with earlier said that for the weekend of Moog all of the beds will be sold out by the time the day is over.
So once 9 AM July 1st rolls around I'm going to call and reserve 4 pods. They're only $35 a night. And you don't have to pay anything up front to reserve them, just give a credit card number.
The only thing though is that it is located directly above a bar with live music so unless you plan on going to bed after 2AM you might have trouble with the noise.

You're just too young to grasp how stylin' I really was. All the boys wanted to do me when I was 5. Actually the girls did too. My haircut was confusing.
There is an Asheville airport, but it tends to be expensive. The best option is to talk to someone who is driving in and see if you can get a ride from Greenville/Knoxville/Charlotte/Raleigh... The first year, LD and I rented a car from Charlotte. The second year I also flew into Charlotte- NoAge picked me up and Rosko brought me back. This year, I am mooching off of GL and will fly into Charlotte or Raleigh.
By the way, I looked at Southwest from Hartford to Charlotte a few days ago and it's totally under 300 right now. I plan to buy soon. It doubt that I'll see better than that. Anyone else booking a flight should consider it, too!

JHOinTN, did you cancel your reservation yet? If not you can transfer it to ITM (or another inforooer). They were very accommodating about this last year.

I feel like a butthole because ITM was supposed to be my roomie. I'm sorry ITM.
BUT, the hotel room was supposed to be transferred to my name from another, but I don't think that happened. So there should still be a room out there for use...

There might be enough latecomers to fill the room.. It's still booked right now, so we can just hold on to it and see if/how/what is needed.

ITM, after seeing your moves at brunch, it made me want to kick Brad out of my room & let you be my roomie. Something will work out. I have no doubt someone will give you space. Dance some more for me & it might be me.

Knoxville may actually be more expensive than Asheville as far as prices go. There was recently some news article around here about how Knoxville is the 6th most expensive city to fly into in the country.

There's a good chance we're getting a house from airbnb right next to US Cellular Center. If we do, I have a DTI reservation that will become available for an inforooer.

Also the Sweet Pea hostel has not even started taking reservations for October yet. So that's also an option. A cheap option! Very close to everything.

This is my buddy's first fest so there is a VERY slim chance he ventures out on his own which would in turn provide you our other room key to use the weekend. Obviously if something else pops up that works better for you that's awesome, but my offer totally stands, it was awesome kickin' it with you the short time I met you at brunch in '12, you're a great guy.

I know this won't help you much, but maybe? If I can't get anyone for the weekend, then you can stay for the Saturday. If I do get someone for the weekend, would you have an air mattress and don't mind floor space?
