I would... I was going to say some places are 21+ but that's not accurate, they just do bracelets and Xs and such. It's definitely an older crowd, though. I don't think I've ever seen anyone under 18 (or really under 21) there.

It appears likely that I'll be in Sacramento Oct 17-20 for a work conference. It seems crazy to fly back to Wisconsin just to fly again real quick to the next coast. So, my penciled-in plan now will be to stay an extra night in Sacramento then skip the work week to Greyhound over to Asheville (in my mind, this is "less crazy" somehow). If that happens, I'll be awful glad MOEMS is a hotel thing & not camping.
Clearly I quacked up by not thinking far enough in advance and planning WHERE I'll be staying for this one, and now everywhere is all booked up, as far as I can tell. So: Do any of you awesome people have an open spot for a roommate and be willing to let me join your adventure?

Yeeeeah apparently there's a few bars on that block. I'm looking forward to all the party people that are going to be in the hostel! Everybody might even wake up to me cooking blueberry pancakes one morning. Im all about a hardy hangover breakfast lol.
Did y'all really have that much trouble getting the room? I just started a new job this morning so my roommate made the call instead of me. He said that he tried calling at 9 and couldnt get through so he figured they might open at 10. He called a little bit after 10 and got no response. Then 5 minutes later he gets a call back and its Sweet Pea's. He tells them he wants to reserve 3 pods and before he can ask when they already guess its for the last weekend of october, haha. They end up making the reservation though. Not sure how. I guess it was meant to happen!
Or perhaps they were more inclined to give the reservations to people renting out the whole weekend.
I called but only ever got the machine! left a message with my name, info and dates in the vain hope that would count... I was planning to call again in the morning, but guess that's a lost cause. d*mn. guess I am in the market for a roommate/floor too... I have a cot and I don't snore!
I'll confirm with ppl already requesting to sleep in our room that we are full but if not it's a great idea to squeeze in as many as you can. Remember if you take the room charge a night and divide it between several ppl that = more beer money, more time spent with inforooers, and more options on clothing/hair/makeup trades. Think ppl think!
