But how was the ZZ Top show overall? You gonna see them again on the farm?
Probably, I really enjoyed the show. I was expecting only to be ironically entertained, but they're really good musicians and legit fun to watch. Not super exciting, but a great show. Might see something else at game time, but right now my plan is to catch them again.
no one has really mentioned it but the Portugal the man vs. Two GAllants vs. Lord Huron hurts me. Killing that fanbase of music.
This is the only conflict I am undecided about. I've seen Two Gallants before, but they put on a helluva a show. I would love to be able to see them again. However, I'm also a big fan of Portugal, the Man and I have never seen them. I guess the fact that I have never listened to Lord Huron helps narrow it down for me.
after much thought regarding the schedule (last complaint)...Bonnaroo would've been better served if they had let Wilco have the late night which stage, and moved Wu-Tang to pre-headliners. It would've eased the cluster of Jim James-John McLaughlin-Conspirator as well as giving a great band a set to showcase their talents. Wu-Tang can only play for 1.5 hours, Wilco can play for 3. What about Pretty Lights? Simple, move him to Saturday night.

I feel like I'm gonna love the ZZ Top show. Trying to keep expectations low, but I've always appreciated those maniacs. Really pumped they're Late Night - I'll be showing up a little late though. McCartney takes precedence.

Ya just tell bands that have tour schedules and signed contracts they are switching days because some people on the internet are unhappy.
Why are you goons trying to see Wu Tand while its light out.

I will be running for dear life as fast as I can to make to zz top after McCartney and may listen to the last encore on the run to make it I don't want to miss too much.
Complaining about schedule conflicts is petty. Everyone has a conflict or ten, it's part of being at a festival. Suck it up and pick one or the other, or split your time between sets.
I wanted to see wu tang but I like zz top more and for longer and I think i will enjoy it more.i can listen to enter the 36 chambers anytime I want. Oh well! If it weren't conflicting zz top or the Jj superjam or Björk I would go see them. But I can't so...
I wanted to see billy idol but you know what I only know three of his songs three! I will be doing the super jam instead. And that's great.
No regrets people! It will take away from your enjoyment of the weekend.
Just rank the show in order of importance and see the ones you must see.

So, Paul McCartney is my #1 and Jim James is my #2. LUCKILY they're not conflicting but it's one right after the other with 30 minutes between the sets. Maybe I leave 15 minutes early or something.
Assuming I work my way around to the left side of the field, how close can I hope to get for Macca? I know all hope for the pit is lost. I'm just hoping I get lucky and can work my way around and make it close to the soundboard/camera towers.
I know I can always catch the Superjam, but goddamn that album is glorious and I gotta hear it live!
They just shortened Empire Of The Sun's set by a half an hour! Really not happy about this. It is now only an hour long from 2AM-3AM. Hopefully they fix this.
