Edward Sharpe vs. Tame Impala Billy Idol vs. Weird Al vs. Mac Demarco
Gonna see Edward Sharp and Billy Idol though. Those two I've liked previously whereas Demarco and Tame Impala my boyfriend got me into recently. And Weird Al just would have been fun but, oh well.
Underrated conflict for me is Kacey Musgraves vs. The Rubens. I love Kacey and am going to her set, but I should have never started listening to The Rubens. They are going to blow up.
Usually can get rid of a couple conflicts because of acts coming through town before or after the fest. Case in point: seeing Japandroids here the week before Bonnaroo, which frees me up to be able to catch both Purity Ring and Father John Misty. Also catching The National here the Monday before Bonnaroo, since I'll be missing them for David Byrne & St. Vincent
I'm not going to Bonnaroo this year, but if I were the one that would kill me the most is Weird Al vs Billy Idol vs Rock n' Soul Superjam. Obviously, musically I would sasy Rock n' Soul Superjam. Billy Idol would be just plain fun! Weird Al would be unbelievable. I'm glad I don't have to choose this stuff this year. I'd have to catch a bit of all of em, about 1/3rd of the Weird Al Show, swing through Billy Idol just to say I saw him, and hope the Superjam goes over their time slot! Make sure to catch Bustle in the Hedgerow for me guys! Have a great time inforooers!

I still don't know what to do about R. Kelly / Superjam / Billy Idol. I've already seen Weird Al so luckily I can disqualify him, but still a terrible decision to make.
Billy Idol loads the front and back of his shows with hits and there's downtime in the middle. Right now, I'm tentatively thinking: R. Kelly: 30 minutes, Billy Idol: 20-25 minutes, Superjam: 45 minutes, Billy Idol: 20 minutes, Superjam: 30 minutes.
But that's a ton of running between This and That while not having a good spot at either. Ugh.

True, and there is no guarantee you will catch the best parts of the sets this way. Lot of lost time running around taboot.
Might I suggest an adjustment to your proposed schedule?

Superjam: 120 minutes
Haha. In any other circumstance you'd be absolutely right, but my fiancee is dying to see Billy Idol, particularly Dancing With Myself.
There's a possibility we could do Billy for 20 minutes, get over to the Superjam where it's rocking face and just stay there. But I don't think there's anyway for me to get out of at least a little Billy Idol. Not a big deal, I like his hits. Just so much to see, so little time.

Yeah Billy Idol is awesome, and I hate missing his set. It will be a great time for all in attendance. But choices have to be made.
Bjork vs. Beach House is the only one keeping me up at night. I've seen Beach House a couple times, so I'll be going to Bjork. It still majorly blows though.

I know it seems minor at 330 in the afternoon Saturday but I still have no idea whether to check out TMOE or Frank Turner. I really wanted to see both.

Conflicts for me are not to bad this year. Nothing this year compares to the Sunday evening last year before Phish. That was nuts...and I still regret how I went about that.
The worst though for me is having The Lumineers play till 9:30 at Which and then having Mumford start at 9:30 on What. If you go for the full Lumineers set you will have to fight the layover crowd walking to What, and you will be in the main back where you can only see the video screen's. Then of course if you go early for Mumford you sacrifice seeing The Lumineers.
I will stay toward the back for the first 3 or 4 songs of The Lumineers and then head over to What to find me a decent spot.

The only conflict I'm really bummed about is Animal Collective and Pretty Lights.
And I would kind of like to see a superjam, since its's my first Roo, but for each one there's someone else playing at the same time that I really want to see. I'd be tempted to leave ZZ Top early and catch what I can of the Superjam with RZA and DJ Jazzy Jeff... But since Animal Collective is playing half an hour later in the same tent, it would kind of feel like a waste to leave and lose my spot only to come back a little bit later. Oh well.
Grizzly Bear vs. Big Krit Jim James vs. Conspirator vs. John Mclaughin and the 4th dimension Wu-Tang vs. getting a decent spot for Paul ZZ Top vs. rap superjam vs. Wolfgang gartner Anco vs. porter vs. pretty lights
Taking a nap vs. lumineers/Mumford
Kendrick Lamar vs swans vs bob saget vs tame impala ASAP vs David Byrne

bjork v. a-trak v. beach house is just not cool. that conflict can Quack right off. i mean, i know i'm seeing bjork, but come on, at least put a-trak late night or something.
the rest are manageable. i wish animal collective wasn't conflicting with porter robinson (and that wolfgang gartner opened AnCo's tent, so i could just get a good spot for both), but i haven't seen AnCo live in forever, and you get the feeling this could be a special set - so that's a pretty easy one.
