I agree Bastille will be a (wonderful) mess. I think Chevy Stage will be stuffed all Sunday. Bastille> Portugal. the Man> JJ are all magnets for the Hangout demo.
Agreed with most packed undercard. JJ for sure, and in terms of earlier performances, Bastille, Portugal, Matt & Kim, and Gary Clark Jr. In other news, Hangout just sold out today. I'm pretty happy for them as a fest. 3 weeks people.
I'm stoked it sold out! Last year did not look good at all with the "we're sold out (even though the report we paid to have done totally calls us out as liars)" fiasco. Can. Not. Wait.
I think they said they got the capacity up to 40k this year too. In a time where everyone seems to be shifting to a pop/edm mold, it was nice to see Hangout hold it down with some rock and get rewarded for it. Even if it is softer (Killers, JJ, Avetts, Flips) they got acts like Reignwolf, DP, Queens, and Gary Clark that are gonna shred faces. Good stuff.
yea these other lineups are def catered to an under 25ish crowd when you see acts like Lorde, Skrillex, Foster the People, Lana Del Ray on the top 2-3 lines of most lineups.

Flips are up against fitz! Both will draw well but fitz are on letting go/palladia stage; will be as full as that stage gets. I would say that will be tougher to navigate than the Chevy stage. Matt n Kim has a rage cover set and trombone to go up against.
Top five undercard crowds JJ, capital cities will be huge!, so will Bastille, dawes because they are against no body of consequence and Gary Clark.

Sure won't from me. Sunday has turned into the most stacked day for me after this schedule came out and it's gonna be nonstop from 2 till 11 when those fireworks go off after Outkast. No way I'm losing sleep to get up and see one of these unknown people. Good luck to them but ya def a tough spot to be playing.
so I see that they switched bastille so that los lobos now clashes with Portugal. the man. wtf
Yea isn't it great!!! I don't think 3k +people would fit over at the palladia stage. The crowd Los lobos pulls is more fitting for the palladia stage especially since they are putting the water slide over there this year.
