so I see that they switched bastille so that los lobos now clashes with Portugal. the man. wtf
I don't get Bastille at all. To someone who likes them, what are their good songs. Los Lobos v Portugal sounds fucking stupid.
Um pretty much all their songs are good. Dan smith has some awesome pipes. They also do a lot of remixes/covers of popular songs like Bruno Mars locked out of heaven or Miley Cyrus' we can't stop to eminems lose yourself (awesome mix of the two)
Other songs that are cool would be: bad blood, overjoyed, flaws, of the night, things we lost in the fire... All good things!

If you like Pompeii definitely give Bad Blood (the album) a spin. I think Pompeii's far and away the best song, but I also like Bad Blood (the song), The Weight of Living, and Icarus. If you like slower stuff try Overjoyed and Oblivion. Things We Lost In the Fire is popular and quite catchy, but the lyrics are insufferable if you ask me. If you don't like Pompeii, I would suggest you sit back and try and to fully enjoy it. If it still doesn't click, then move along. It's the peak and essence of Bastille IMO.
P.S. If you are very partial toward rusty rock'n'roll over synth-pop/rock I would say just let it ride and go get yourself some Reignwolf.
Just lookin at the map now to see how my travels will be looking. To be honest, as much as I want to see Bastille and Reignwolf, it makes more sense to stay at Reignwolf. It's way closer to the Hangout stage and that's where Capital Cities are gonna be after that 2 pm timeslot. The more I thought about it, the less I could see myself running from the Palladia stage over to the Chevy for a few songs and then sprinting back to the Hangout stage. I don't wanna miss a second of CC on the beach so that kinda puts me in a bind.

Thanks for the info. I am probably going to do this now.
Not that I wish anything bad on the poor guy, but if Chance ends up having to have surgery and cancel more dates, I'd be ecstatic if they could move around the schedule a bit. I was planning on seeing him in that 7 pm pre headlining time slot at the Red Bull stage anyway, but if they could put Moon Taxi there, thus allowing me to see Matt & Kim on the beach, it'd honestly be perfect for me. Has anyone heard anymore news on Chance?
Chance had to cancel all of his tour dates for the rest of April (this was made official last week). He got real sick before the 2nd weekend of Coachella the day of his performance. There hasn't been any more news since like Wednesday of last week, but that's where it's at now. With Hangout only being 3 weeks away I figured there may be a chance (no pun intended) he could miss his slot.
oh wow thats crazy and a shame too. but im with ya if he does have to cancel i hope Taxi gets moved to that slot so i can see em bcuz im probably going to Trombone Shorty as of now

I'll be staying on the West Shuttle line and stopping at Waves Grocery and Package. Anyone stopped here before? I assume its gonna be open, but specifically do they have a bike rack/ Roller Blade rack where I can lock my transportation? My house is 3/4 of a mile past that stop.... ugh

Whats the skinny on mobile airport shuttles to the gulf? Anyone experienced anything? How much does a cab cost roughly? Seems silly to rent a car if its just sitting there for a week. We have friends driving down as well can steal their car for supplies.

We're renting a van for the weekend. We did the math on everything and it'll be easier for us. We're getting in at like 10 on Thursday morning and I'm making 2 trips back and forth from the pensacola airport to get everyone back to the condo. We want that convenience of not having to worry about cabs for everyone plus we need the car to go shopping. Gas will be minimal and the van rental split between our whole group was virtually nothing.
