It's looking like there's a little bit of a weather shift. 40% chance of storms Thursday with a high of only 72 now. Ugh. Thursday was supposed to be my beach day. Not cool.

Don't sweat it guys... The weather changes so rapidly on the coast that even if it does rain, the sun usually comes right back out shortly after. Fingers crossed that the rain never comes in the first place though, since I got the same plan (beach day). But really at this point I'll take a rainy day at the beach over a sunny day anywhere else.
If you see Neil, a three foot inflatable astronaut, come over and say hi. He will be wearing a flashing light lei. I'll be the dude wearing a straw hat.

So... Just for you dreamers out there like me... Dave Grohl (and the rest of Foo Fighters) have been in Nashville for the better part of the last few weeks... He has a couple of side projects playing this year (QOTSA and RDGLDGRN)... I'm driving down from Nashville.... Think he needs a ride? I won't even make him chip in for gas, lol...

One of my favorite Fest moments came when Grohl called Joan Jett up on stage and sang her happy birthday and then they did a cover of one of her songs together.
just ogtta get through 2 more days and ill be on a plane to NOLA for the night before heading to Bama Thurs morning. im hoping to make it to Magic Man to kick off the pre party but its gonna be close but i will def be at Bleachers
