Dave Matthews announced hsi summer Tour. In Texas on the 16th and 17th and then nothing until Tulsa on the 21st. Could be a Sunday player with The Nauts or somehting based on that schedule. I'm not a Dave fan particularly but could be in for a Nauts show down the undercard.
Where did you see this? I'm not seeing any Summer tour information.

The summer tour dates leaked for them. I'm a big fan of theirs (*ducks*) and it was released on a couple forums.

Damn that will make two straight years of DMB playing Dallas during Hangout. Not that I'm complaining because Hangout is awesome but pick another freaking date to play Dallas, Dave.
Also, I really hope this doesn't happen, but OneRepublic also has an opening in their tour that would make Hangout a possibility. Haven't heard anyone mention them as a possibility. Seems like a mid level bro band that Hangout could potentially book.
Hopefully Bombay Bicycle Club comes to the beach. New album coming out sounds great so far, and their Europe tour dates end in March heading into a U.S. tour schedule
Looks like they're in Nashville on the 14th and nothing scheduled until Dallas on the 17th, so I'd say they could be a Friday possibility for sure.
Good work brother. Definitely sounds like a possibility and would be a great undercard
You're off to an interesting start, ap. You're probably the first person to ever mention that last band on this board. Is that a bro band? Bro's just keep getting worse and worse, huh? I thought they were an early teenage girl band.
Early teenage girl band is actually the perfect description, but I'm sure all the bros wouldn't hate it either. Regardless of what happens, I can't wait for next Wednesday. Crossing my fingers for Bone Thugs and Portugal. The Man.
I really hope it doesn't suck. I already asked off work
C'mon, have you been on the beach any of the last few years and said "This is awful, I sure wish I was home doing some other things" ?
No, I don't want to meet the sorry bastard who's inner dialogue sounds like that. One can argue that hangout's lineups have steadily declined the past years, I thought last years lineup was great, undercard wise (I love jam bands) so I just want more of that. Friday afternoon was hell for me too much indie rock bullshit makes me sleepy
Just have a feeling they're gonna keep going more and more commercial, but I hope they deliver something like 2011
I think we will share at least one headliner. But which one..
OutKast
I would want outkast, beck, broken bells, zedd, girl talk, afi, Bastille, anti flag, qotsa, skrillex, pharrell, foster the people, mgmt, empire of the sun, fatboy slim, kid cudi, head and the heart, cage the elephant, city and Colour, capital cities, and Calvin Harris for hangout seeing them on coachella makes me have high hopes for some of these I've been wanting but wasnt sure if they were touring or doing fests
It's a masterpiece. Coachella really knows how to make a grown man cry. Hopefully Hangout gets half of these Saturday acts (i.e. QOTSA, Foster, MGMT, Empire of the Sun, Cudi, Head and the Heart, Sleigh Bells, Naked and Famous, Temples, Bombay Bicycle Club, White Lies)

They have to go commercial. Look at the "jam band" festivals. 10klf. Done. Wakarusa. Struggles. Bonnaroo. Commercial.
The scene isn't jam bands anymore. It's electronic / indie music.
I'm interested to see if this change in booking agents has any effect on the types of acts they'll be willing to book. If there was one thing that would bump this fest for me, it would be to have some more hard rock acts thrown in. It seemed like that's something Huka did not really go after and maybe Red Mountain can throw that into the mix. Overall I like the way they've booked with regards to the undercard, just a few more additions from that genre would be nice.
with Outkast headlining Coachela that means they are def headlining HO right? Assuming thats the case would it be likely or possbile that Arcade Fire or Muse gets a headline spot too bcuz I would really love Muse to get it.
Some coachella acts I really hope HO pulls that we havent really talked about are Bastille, Chance the rapper, Cage, Broken Bells, Zedd
In response to Coachella dropping their lineup, gonna burn some time at work and lay down another mock. Gonna be some wishful thinking on this one but nothing too over the top...
PEARL JAM * OUTKAST * THE KILLERS JACK JOHNSON * QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE * VAMPIRE WEEKEND * FLAMING LIPS LORDE * FOSTER THE PEOPLE * THE NAUTS * LANA DEL RAY * GIRL TALK * NAS UMPHREY'S MCGEE * FITZ & THE TANTRUMS * BONE THUGS 'N HARMONY * ALESSO * KID CUDI * DISCLOSURE* MGMT * AFI CAPITAL CITIES * MOON TAXI (RATM SET) * THE DRIVE-BY TRUCKERS * CAGE THE ELEPHANT * PORTUGAL. THE MAN
Probably too much hip-hop in there and again, I'd like more hard rock but I'll believe it when I see it. I figured Jack Johnson could get the SCI/TAB treatment and get a nice long slot while the sun is setting one of the days. Maybe not a "headlining spot" but in terms of set time, just as long. Feel free to rip this apart with everything you have. Maybe we'll get some more leaks with Coachella's release done and the eventual release less than a week away.
