But with weird al, billy idol and Mac demarco all at the same time.... If anything, I'd disagree animal collective and eots, as they both have pretty big draws to contend with. I'd be tempted to throw beach house, and lord Huron up there with the top 2, and sub purity ring for at least the first 30 mins of tame impala.
In no particular order: Alt-J, Jim James, Weird Al, Soul Superjam, Japandroids.
The tents get so packed on Thursday, especially with the gates officially opening on Wednesday now.
Facing off against the Soul Super Jam, R. Kelly, and Billy Idol, I'm sorta looking forward to a small crowd at Al
Possibly, but I wouldn't count on it. R. Kelly will draw a decent crowd, but I can't imagine it will be super-packed like, say, NIN in '09 - maybe 20-25k or so? Jim is a Roo favourite, so I'm guessing 15-20k at Superjam. The Other Tent is a bit smaller than This and That - I'd guess it holds around 10k. I think Al could potentially have almost as many people as superjam - his live performances have a reputation for being great. I would be surprised if Billy Idol draws a bigger crowd than Weird Al.
I just checked the Roo website, and it seems they no longer show you how many people have added a show to their schedule - which is a pain as it could've helped gauge attendance more easily. We shall see.
Anyone without Tampe Impala in their top 3 is smoking crack.
I was thinking the same, but with the national, swans, bob saget and Edward sharpe all around the same time, I hope it's a little thinned out.
Part of the issue with Tame Impala is that they are in The Other Tent. Unlike the other two, sightlines are f*cking horrible once you get out of the tent there, so people may be tighter in the tent in order to see.
I'm going to say AnCO, the beginning of Tallest Man on Earth, Ed Helms Superjam, Alt-J, Father John Misty... all based purely on my opinion (and who they are up against).

1. Alt-J (I'm going to Japandroids instead of Father John Misty just so I can be in the tent for Alt-J) 2. Soul Superjam 3. Purity Ring 4. Lord Huron 5. Tame Impala

No particular order:
Alt-J Matt & Kim Earl A$ap Empire of the Sun
Tame Impala could knock one of these out of the top 5, I could also see ZZ Top or maybe AnCo sliding in there, based on the schedule now with the unexplainable empty tent.
