1. Matt & Kim 2. Tame Impala 3. Alt- J 4. Beach House 5. Animal Collective
The old man cuddle tent might also be pretty crowded.
I think Tame Impala's attendance will be diminished by their scheduling opposite Edward Sharp and the Magnetic Zeros. If 2011 is any indicator Matt & Kim will indeed be swamped.
Capital Cities in the Lounge is also going to be crazy packed. that band is getting radio play and they have them on that little stage with not much opposition.
Ya.. And don't forget Maps & Atlases are on right before them. That show will be nuts packed.
Ys, these two shows easily have the most adds of any of the shows in Miller Lite lounge, last I checked I think Maps and Atlases were at 1428 and Capital Cities was ahead only three at 1431, which bums me out because I thought everyone would be at ALO and would easily look over the Miller Lite lounge cause it isn't one of the five main stages. Capital cities will probably be in the top five for most packed, not necessarily because of the number of people there, but because of how small of a venue they are playing.
Last Edit: May 28, 2013 18:06:03 GMT -5 by Fore34: I understand that the Miller Lite Lounge is not a tent, I was just saying that because I lumped it in as one of the lesser stages, and it will be insa - Back to Top
6/20 - Connan Mockasin/Khruangbin 7/25 - Dino Jr./Kurt Vile 8/1 - Chemical Brothers 9/24 - OMD/B-52's 10/2 - Built to Spill
Here are the ones I'm pretty sure about: 1. Alt-J (everyone knows this) 2. Matt and Kim (with little competition) 3. ZZ top (because all the "old people" ahaha) 4. AnCo (beginning) 5. Rock n' Soul Superjam (always packed) 6. Empire of the Sun (everyone will want to hear Walking on a Dream)
Here are some possibilities and why I'm not so sure: 7. Tame Impala (Mr. Sharpe and his cult ahaha) 8. Beach House (Bjork and A-Track) 9. Earl Sweatshirt (OMaM/ not as popular Tyler... even though he's better) 10. Father John Misty (Paper Diamond/ people going to Japandroids to get a good spot for Alt-J, quacking tweens, smh) this will also cause the FJM crowd to thin out at the end as people leave for Alt-J
Thursday night should not count, they should open the which stage on Thursday since they now open the lots on Wednesday. I will say no tent will be as crowded as Sleigh Bells in 11 or Mgmt in 08. Those 2 were ridiculous. Other than Thursday I say

Matt & Kim seems like the obvious choice. I remember walking by their huge crowd in 2011 and this year they in a smaller tent and not really up against any huge names. I can't figure out how they are in the Other tent rather than one of the larger tents or even the Which.
Granted not everybody has the app to do this so it doesn't take everyone into account but here are most scheduled tent acts according to the Bonnaroo app...

Thanks Matt & Kim. I should have no problem getting a great spot in pit for Bjork. Gonna be there for all of Nas set because he is awesome live and then weasel my way as close as possible for Bjork after he's done. This is the only time I'm getting in pit for what stage.

bjork is going to be the easiest spot to get all weekend. fear not.

see that @ntellier85
What am I suppose to be seeing? They arent Top 5, and they DEFINTELY arent #2 lol
Matt & Kim is going to be an absolute shit-show. The crowd when they played This Tent in '11 was insanely large for a mid-day set, back to the fountain I believe.
I plan to be at ZZ Top and I'm 23, does that count as old.
My Dad will be there too, and will be staying for Animal Collective.
He stayed longer than most last year, the whole Sunrise Umphreys show.
This is true. I made it to the rail for Gov't Mule > ZZ-Top at Beale St and guess what? A lot of the folks up front were "old." But we know how to do this shit. And yeah, I'll hang for the late night shows. Bet I'll last longer than some of the folks half my age!
Honestly, I just want a spot to tape Tame Impala. I also need to get in to tape as much of Top as I can since I screwed up the Memphis recording.
The good thing for me is that there are only two or three bands on everyone's top 5 that concern me. Tame Impala and ZZ-Top. I should be in the tent by the time ANCO starts If I can get in for Top. I'm heading to Tame Impala early and hope the conflicts send some people to other tents.
A$AP Rocky Empire of the Sun Beach House Matt & Kim Alt-J
Also likely: Japandroids Purity Ring Jim James ZZ Top
As others have mentioned, I think Superjam will clear out some after five or so songs. I don't think Animal Collective will be particularly crowded because of Pretty Lights and how late they're playing. I imagine there might be a crowd only familiar with My Girls at first who will quickly leave when they realize that AC are more than that song (generally pretty fucking weird)

Could it be more crowded than Ludacris was last year?

I was up close-ish for Matt & Kim and Alt-J, so I couldn't tell how packed they were outside the tents.
Alt-J was crazy packed. I went over after FJM knowing that I would be listening and not seeing. The crowd seemed pretty solid all the way to the Fountain.

I did the exact same thing. I hovered around just inside the fountain. But I saw Alt-J earlier this year. As predicted, Matt & Kim was insanely packed. My crew sat in the shade wayyy off to the side and just listened.
Didn't see Matt & Kim because I was having my mind blown by Bjork instead, but Alt-J was definitely the most packed tent that I saw. Empire of the Sun and Tame Impala were really packed too.

Alt J was pretty packed when I rolled up late. I am not a big fan so I didnt stay long. the three big shows I went to in the tents I was dead center so of course it was lacked around me. I got to each extra early and it was still packed. dont know how it looked from the outskirts. Just HATE the MAD PUSH going in and out in those tents.
