ZZ Top sucked. I've been to fests 5X's the Roo's size and I don't remember it being that much different. There has to be a few changes I think ... ... grrrr... cr**** cr****
Name a fest that is five times the size of Bonnaroo, please.

I wasn't at any of these shows people are commenting on. I was amazed at how This Tent was packed for Tallest Man On Earth. I stopped by at the end of Lord Huron then went to get a refreshment and the crowd was backed up to the road and overflowing on both sides when I got back.

Bonnaroo need larger tent. I prefer teh sound in teh tents over the which stage any day. I think that both ZZ and Idol needed to be in a bit larger venue. I got to Idol at least an hour and a half early and it was already packing up. barely secured me a place and the folks I was to meet could not even squeeze to me 30 minutes before the show.

I didn't say or infer Idol or ZZ sucked, just the crowd size. We did wait till the end of Paul and let almost everyone pass but then that's why we are in ADA US fest. est; It set the single-day concert attendance record for the US with an estimated 375,000 people. Woodstock est; 400K, Watkins Glen est; 650K, Atlanta Pop Festival "An estimated 350,000 to 500,000,and possibly 600,000 people attended." These are Wiki articles so it's a guess but close I guess.... sorry for the double cr**** cr****

I was surprised by how strong ZZ Top sounded. Went to the show specifically to hang out with some friends, and ended up really enjoying it. While it was packed to start, by half way through the set the crowd was below average late night size.

Infinite to our Mods and PROBoards ... cr****
This website has been slow all week during certain parts of the day, Ron. The mods have nothing to do with it. And it's the proboard servers not the actual software aspect of the forum. It will probably get better in a week or two when people stop talking about Roo until it's time for predicting artists based on tour dates come december.

Just saying I had a infoo board for Vegoose, and although being in IT for years, they made it really easy ... cr****

I thought the Thursday tents shows were most congested, as it was nearly impossible to navigate through the crowd anywhere close to the tents for alt-j, Father John Misty, Purity Ring, and Django Django. (I think they really have to consider opening one of the other stages on Thursday--this year's Thursday congestion was pretty miserable.) After Thursday, the biggest tent crowds I saw were for Tallest Man on Earth and Billy Idol.
Yeah i was at walk the moon to get a good spot for purity ring and it was packed. A couple videos i watched actually showed it overflowing out of the tent pretty far back
By what I experienced, Matt & Kim was the most packed; was outside the tent, a decent ways behind the soundboard, and people were packed in on the lawn. I was at some of the other shows mentioned, but luckily was under the tent, so I wasn't feeling the pain of being stuck in the grass and unable to see anything.
Purity Ring was insanely packed. I didn't even go for the show, my friends and I just thought it'd be fun to do some pre-show crowd walk-thruin'. We were right! What a sea of people to observe.
Soul Superjam was also a very dense crowd, but once out from under the tent it was pretty open. EVERYWHERE in the vicinity of Purity Ring was chaos.
