Why did this thread get so silly?? Seriously, I'm beyond excited for so many acts this year, from every genre...not just EDM. I just happen to want a great pit spot for this show, and was hoping to see a few people say the same.. No need for arguing, people. Jeez..

It happens around here. People get offended because they think its dumb to see this act over the other act and vice versa.
I've had experiences with the pit like that before........ But here is the thing.. Last year my girlfriend and I waited in line to see Skrillex for at least three hours, and even then we nearly got trampled. I mean, at one point we were so packed together that it felt like the wall was going to come down. No joke. Anyone who was in that line knows what I'm talking about. So, to avoid any rush like that again, I'll be there for a while to be up front.
Last years pit line for Skrillex got kinda scary at one point...a few friends and I were along that wall waiting for hours and at one point had our backs to the crowd and both feet on the wall pushing..crazy, but it was so worth it(despite the show ending earlier than expected due to rain i think?)! Saw pretty lights in NOLA last year and wasnt thoroughly impressed but will also be leaving paul a little early to ensure a decent spot in hopes of a great (redemption) show by pretty lights! Cant wait to see everyone on the farm NEXT WEEK!

so, now that adam deitch will be there for the rap superjam, any chance he comes out for a tune with pretty lights? I really doubt it, since PL probably doesn't have a drum kit incorporated into his stage setup anymore. but it would be cool. I guess after the surprise superjam though, that i shouldn't hold my breath for more surprises.
Did the schedule change throw off anybody's plans for LN Friday? It did for me.
I want to have a good spot for Pretty Lights, easily what I want to see the most Friday night. I am not big on The XX, just not really my cup of tea. I kinda want to see ZZ Top, but not to interested because I have seen them before. I wouldn't mind to see some of the Hip Hop superjam, but nothing I am dieing to see it either. Would I have a solid if I got there at 12:30 over at Which? Or should I just suffer though and get to The XX earlier to ensure a good spot.

I agree with this in principle, but not magnitude. Although the original poster actually called you a "hipster f*ggot," which I think gets you a lot closer to the "new N word" ball park.
Of course the agnitude is different, i would never argue otherwise. It just sucks to see a spciety ditch one blanket insult for anyone they dislike for another. What happened to human imagination?
Please don't push your way to the front of the crowd. 3 reasons:
1.) you're taking a spot from someone who put in a longer wait than you 2.) There's no room up there anyway. 3.) It's rude.
I should probably have worded that better. I mean work my way closer during WuTang and end of it. I do not push. I've been on receiving end of getting pushed many times.
I can't wait to ride the emotional high from Paul into Wolfgang Gartner (sorry XX, all accounts say you're boring) and then Pretty Lights. Friday can't get here soon enough.
