Our office is currently sitting at 59 degrees. That doesn't sound that cold, but it is for an interior temperature, and my fingers are basically icicles.

Can I please go back home to my warm bed?
I keep a space heater at my feet. It's so lovely.
I totally found one under my desk and plugged it in out of desperation. The best fire hazard everrrrrrrrrr.

I used to give my work partner a ton of crap about having one. Now, I'm pricing them when I go to Wal-Mart. Cold offices are horrible.
it's so slow and we have no work. i'm literally getting paid to read harry potter. sigh. i'm taking vacation time tomorrow and staying in the bed until it's time to party. fuck this shit.

I think you're in the wrong thread.
It's been a while, but work being show is a hell of its own. Over half of my office is out today, so nothing is going on. It feels like I've been here a week.

Literally, same. Reading my book is making my eyes droopy because it's so quiet in here and the hours are stretching into days. Normally I could get lost in a book, but at work today, it's making things worse.

But what about?
Government. More than half the internet is blocked. I know. I'm being a cry baby lol

A sales director just had the nerve to ask me to move up the deadline on a project to Monday. Doesnt he know I have this week set aside for not getting anything done?

I almost brought my phone charger to work today, but I thought, "I'm only going to be there until 3, surely I won't use up all my battery in that time." It's 1:30, and I'm down to 35%. Not sure I'm going to make it.
I'm hoping to be out of the psycho bagel joint by next month.
The plan: I'm applying for phlebotomy jobs since you don't need anything but a high school diploma to do that in NYS. Then I'm going to look into either Radiology Tech or Surgical Tech programs. Maybe both because Radio Tech is a super competitive program at the school I'm looking at and I'd be on the waiting list just to get into the program for a bit, so if I could do Surgical Tech while on the waiting list I would be kept occupied and not worrying about much... and I've always wanted to be in an OR.
Basically what I'm saying is that I'm gonna wear a lot of hats in my life and that makes me pretty happy.
Thinking about starting some kind of baking blog (because the world needs more of those ) just to keep me occupied and to share my creations... and to procrastinate/relieve stress.

Do you only have one charger? I keep one at my desk, in my car, next to my bed and in the living room (plus one that lives in my carryon bag). I even have a second charger for my fitbit and work phone so I can keep one at work and one at home. #beprepared
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.

I think I have a second one, but I intentionally didn't bring it to work when I got my new phone because I'm trying to cut down on the time I'm on it while at work.

My sister, whose name is Kaitlyn, used to be a phlebotomist.

Walked out of my job today. Been wanting to leave for a while, but simply got pushed over the line today. This could be very, very bad. But at least my mental health will remain in tact.
