We have a table in the back of the office where they post different office activities (or activites as the sign says still). Currently on this table is a Thinking Of You card for Jodie with a sign telling everyone to feel free to sign it. I have no idea who Jodie is or why we are supposed to be thinking of Jodie right now.

That means you should definitely write something in it! Make up a reason.

Nothing like getting a call with an hour to go on Friday from an upper upper upper level management person asking you to whip up some random report. Whew. Got it sent off with 10 minutes to spare.
Now I just get to sit here and hope my phone doesn't ring again.

The Property Brothers are so cute.
One of my Coachella friends was on the most recent episode! The budget he and his wife had kind of made my head explode (>$1mill), New York is pricey.
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.

Dear co-worker, I appreciate that the office ice machine was not the recipient of your gift this time, but leaving your used band-aid in the urinal is still fucking gross.
In other news, Like many, I thought assigned seating was the dumbest stuff ever when I was in school. Knowing this, I still get an overwhelming urge to cut a bitch when someone parks in my spot at work.

We don't have assigned parking spots, but I still get irritated when someone parks in the spot where I usually park.

Ours is not assigned officially through the office. There's just a natural system where nearly everyone defaults into parking in the same spot every day. It's weird because mine isn't even a prime spot or anything. It's just that it's mine.

I get here early most days, so I always park in the same spot if I can, but if I come in late, my spot is likely to be gone. I don't really get it. It's the same people here every day, so it seems like you would just fall into a routine of parking in the same spot. Why do these people need variety in their parking spaces?

You all should pop over to the 3rd Annual (Un)Official Inforoo March Madness Bracket Pool Thread and join in. I may or may not have filled out my bracket today at work, and will spend most of tomorrow tinkering with it. It's free, runs on ESPN, and is a good amount of fun. Join us. JOIN US.
Fly season started early this year. Normally this isn't a problem until April.
Meaning: there's black flies throughout the cafeteria and most of the bathrooms. You rarely go more than a couple minutes eating undisturbed. There's one or two for every table and bathroom stall.

When it gets as bad as I mentioned, it usually takes them a couple more weeks to decide they want to put a few traps up. It's like the most half assed response possible.
The flies are out, but not yet in numbers. Thankfully.
I have been looking for a new job. So far it's tumbleweeds.
So it looks like I'm going back to work. A real bummer 'cause I've mostly loved the last few months as a stay at home dad but it would be irresponsible for me to turn down a job offer even if it was unsolicited from a company that I quit. At least they're paying me more, providing a more attainable bonus and letting me hire an assistant. Still... there were reasons that I quit.
