We both are still fighting this. I've had this shit in my throat since roo. It got really bad Sun. Sorry everyone for my gagging and spitting while everyone was exchanging goodbyes after Elton. Every night I start coughing and I'm hacking it up every morning.
I've concluded that the cough and throat symptoms spoken of have a lot to do with if you were near dustier roads Sat & Sun. A lot of people were disregarding wearing their bandannas (I included)... and it's two weeks out and I have this hanging cough with phlegm happening. It's like dust is caught down in my throat

I've been hacking stuff up since Friday after roo. Maybe it was because I was so drained I didn't feel ill until later, idk. Whatever it is, im just now getting over the fever and phlegm.
I'm still hacking up shit. I've been blowing my nose constantly, sore throat, was achey for a few days, swollen glands. I feel like I'm getting better but this shit is lasting. The only time I've gotten sick in the last two years was right after Bonnaroo, thanks for the memories!
Oh crap. Hell yes I had Bonnaflu. Ain't complaining. I know it comes with the territory. Or is it just that work sucks ass after coming home from the Farm?
2013, I was perfectly fine post-Bonnaroo. But I was sick as hell for a solid three weeks post-2014. And I graciously shared it with all of my roommates. They were thrilled, I'm sure. I'll be loading up on EmergenC this year, no doubt!
This is the closet thread I can find to this topic - what is the best allergy medicine everyone brings that is non-drowsy?? My allergies are usually pretty good until I get on the farm with all the dust and stuff in the air... and then my allergies start kicking in...
Benadryll knocks me out so I need something to clear my sinuses/nose but that won't bog me down or deplete my energy.

I'd go for the Allegra and throw in a Netti Pot. You can find one at most drug stores. It flushes the dust and allergens from the air out of your sinus passages and rinses away the undesirable sinus intruders.
I can't speak for Allegra but Non-Drowsy Claritin & Ibuprofen was a miracle worker for alleviating symptoms from the funk I caught at 420 fest this year.

I have miserable allergies that are mostly manifest in runny nose/watery eye symptoms. Sometimes when the non-drowsy allergy meds don't do the trick, I just take the non-drowsy Sudafed to alleviate the runny nose since it's the most annoying symptom.
Not to go too Bonnamom on you but just be careful about which allergy or decongestant meds you mix with alcohol or any other goodies. Also be sure to be even more diligent about the water intake with any of those meds.
Heading in to bonnaroo with a middle ear infection so I'm just going to assume I'll be dead by the time Bonnaroo is over.
I did this once. I recommend you go to your doctor on Monday and demand antibiotics and start drinking 8 bottles of water per day. By the time you get to roo you should be fine as long as you keep taking the meds. I understand all the "don't take antibiotics unless you absolutely need to" stuff, but I think this qualifies as an extenuating circumstance since you've probably already sunk hundreds of dollars into this vacation.

Not to mention that if it gets worse while you're on the farm you will be unable to get antibiotics. Tell the doc you won't use the antibiotics unless it gets worse, they like that.

Get some ear drops and an steroid shot while you are at it.

As a grown ass man who gets 3-4 of those a year the drops they have now are awesome. You will feel better after the first go.
