hello I came here to let everyone/Voltron know I watched part of Kanye's interview and performance on Late Night the other night and it definitely made me a little bit more interested/excited to check him out at Roo

You should download his albums and get even more excited
I just want to throw in there too that if anyone is actually interested in trying to get into Kanye, I'd recommend listening to his albums in order they released. Part of why I appreciate him so much as an artist is the fact that his music has progressed and evolved so much through the years, which especially in hip hop/rap can be rare.

Whattttt didn't know you weren't on the hype train to begin with. You better get on board!
I'm gonna venture a bold guess and say that he's aware of that.
This is true.
The idea of having weak spots for Vampire Weekend>Frank Ocean>Kanye one after the other is what hurts. Obviously its too early to get crushed by schedule expectations, just going through What Ifs and I think Frank into Kanye is the worst I've come up with so far.
On the other hand, I think Lionel Richie on Saturday is going to open up seeing something really nice in the afternoon on the Which or in a tent.
I'm gonna venture a bold guess and say that he's aware of that.
Right, but to me that's not a conflict in the way we usually mean. It's tough but it can be done. Yea, he won't have the best spots or get in the pit for each show but you can still catch both acts. I was able to do MMJ then run over to Primus for most of their set at Which and then right back to Arcade Fire on the What in 2011.

Serious question: So it wasn't too bad then? I'm trying to think of a time I've done something similar. Oh, I did forget trying it on Friday in 2009 for YYYs>Al Green> TVotRadio>Beastie Boys>David Byrne> Phish. (Yeah, that's kind of a big day to forget but whatever.)
Perhaps I've just been spoiled by the idea of getting close for things, but I don't remember that day being too bad other than TVotRadio sounding bad from far away. Alright, I guess statement retracted. I could be in the back half of What for Kanye if I had to. It wasn't terrible for Arcade Fire after Primus and I was able to move up a little ways.

It's definitely tougher to get close for the headliner show. . I had to re-locate my position for Arcade Fire a few times because of how packed it was. But you'll still be able to see/hear the show. Depends on if your with people or not. Tougher to navigate through the crowd with 5 friends but if you're going solo to these shows you may have more luck.
I definitely recommend timing out your exit though. I left during the last song or two of Primus to avoid the full crowd migration.

haha I was more indifferent. I planned on checking him out but I don't really consider myself a fan of him. After seeing him on Late Night though I realized I probably will know a lot of what he plays and everyone says he puts on a great show!

The more i hear songs by him, the more i'm sold that this show is gonna be AMAZING. I really really really hope if Cut Copy is late night the same day it doesn't start Immediately following Kanye. I'll have to literally sprint over to Cut/Copy in as soon as the last note hit. Also in regards to getting to the What Stage, later than most, wouldn't going all the way to the opposite side, (i guess if you're staring directly at the What Stage, if you go to the left), wouldn't that be a less crowded area if you get over there late. I feel like the way everyone migrates from the which area to the what, most just stay crowded on the right side of the stage. I know i've done that every year i've been there, so i anticipate trying to go across in hopes that if i am late, i can still get to a decent spot at the What field
Emoney serves more of a purpose than any of you, especially Nate, whose incessant, garbled ramblings are so mindless and pointless that I get depressed just seeing them.
1. College dropout: "Through the wire", "Jesus walks" 2. Late Registration: "Hey mama", "Heard Em Say" 3. Graduation: "Homecoming", "Good life" 4. 808's and Heartbreak: "Amazing", "Heartless" 5.
