Really enjoyed this in the past and would like to see another Inforoo league for this. I am thinking of doing it like we have in the past with a $10 buy in, winner gets a GA ticket (given we have enough folks to cover it). What say you??

Please, no team entries "just for fun" you didn't pay for. Against the spread (picking the winner to cover the spread or the looser to beat the spread - not a straight win/loss) 17 week regular season Every week counts (no drops) Game picks in 5 minutes before kickoff of that game There is no deadline for signups, you can be added anytime even after the season has started

Winner will receive a GA Bonnaroo ticket if we have enough entries. Left over funds will be passed on to QSAROO or another good cause. If we don't have enough we may just compensate for part of the ticket, but the idea of this is not go be giving cash back. We have 2 folks that rock that have offered to pitch in to make sure we get to the needed amount for the ticket . . . yall rock
I think you should do a separate one for playoffs. By then people will have quit, so I vote do a separate one for the playoffs and do a straight cash payout in that one.

In college bowl pick'em, where confidence points actually make sense.
I personally liked playing with both in the past, it seemed to add a little more to it and keep it a little more interesting. I really don't care, I added a poll, vote on how you want to play and we will let the votes decide.
If i could make a suggestion. Last year the biggest problem we seemed to have was a lack of interest from most of the competitors toward the mid season point. Once you got behind by a decent chunk in the points, it was very difficult to make up ground. If everyone is up for it, especially you Mike D as it would make for more work on your part. A certain number of prize points (Say 50 pts) for winning an individual week would help alleviate this problem and make the league overall more competitive. It would be tacked on to your overall point total for the week.

If that is the case, I don't see any need for awarding points for winning a week, do yall? Also, do yall want to consider dropping the single worst week for each player? My initial thought was no, but it could give someone a chance that misses a week for whatever reason. I am indifferent about how we do this as long as we get this decided and get to pickin!!
If yall know other folks who would be interested, tag em or send some PM's or something. We had 25 last year, I would like to see this get close to 20 so I could throw in a little bit more $$$ to get the ticket price covered.

Thanks Dr. Joe, and as sign of good faith for my disaster of a ticket giveaway this past May, if we fall short this year Mike D, I'll cover the extra cost, and if we get enough, I'll give away a consolation prize to second place.
Also, no, if we decide to go against the spread only, there is no need for a weekly point winner. And is be against a dropping off the worst week.
