Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
"I'll blast on you as you pass on through, Catch you right where you stand put your ass on mute" If you continue this malarky. Don't bring Gas Face into this like your hip or anyone here enjoys your company. I hope you can find satisfaction that people wish you were gone, and that I hope they all keep riding your ass.
Also, you can't be quacking serious. Your post in this reference is their corner, most likely selling druqs. If you want to lament about 90's hip hops homophobic notions go ahead. But the merit of the song is not built on that line, and more likely is generalized term that can be deemed offensive - so does a lot of rap music. Don't pretend like you or anyone else agree with some of the outlandish and possibly offensive moments in rap. Once again, you can't be quacking serious.
I am completely serious. While you may try to dismiss this as a "rap thing" it what YOU chose to post in reference to me.
Please mute, ignore, whatever it is you need to do to not see my posts.
Because if no one rebuffs some of the ignorant crap he's been spewing - he'll just keep upsetting regular members of the forum who aren't as virulent. That dude just expands so greatly on one point, runs it into the ground. Then either in an unaware or self-aware manner likes the post that is clearly saying shut up.
He didn't respond to any of his direct criticisms. None of them And then puts up "I Will Survive" and "Why Can't We Be Friends". Nope not having it
Better question, why should we have to? He's not just trolling a few people that he dislikes like CommanderGabfrab and others do. He's very clearly attempting to indiscriminately poison half the threads he walks into. If I ignore him, I still have to see his wake from every other person he harasses.

If he's trolling then maybe you guys shouldn't feed the troll. Is he breaking any rules that I'm not aware of? Or just being annoying? There are lots of threads and sections I don't visit most of the time.
If it's an obvious trolling job like trying to start arguments in the Now Playing thread like you just posted then click "report" and report his post so the mods know when it happens. Otherwise we may not even be seeing his posts. There are like a handful of threads I actively go through in the off season unless something else calls my attention to it.

I think everyone knows that he hasn't broken a direct rule, it's probably more a "fuck that guy thread"

You guys make the rules, why is this considered not a problem? Do you really feel there's no justification for moderating this sort of behavior on a discretionary basis? Just curious.

I'm posting this while driving to Wal-Mart, smoking a cigarette with my baby rolling around in the backseat, also blasting some 90's rap music that I illegally downloaded, and speeding, but I needed to say can't robbie boy at least get a warning?

I hope you didn't leave the other kid at daycare ...

It's the off season from Bonnaroo and this forum is not very active. A few of guys seem to be making a bigger deal out of something that's not really a huge problem. Is he annoying? Sure. I'm still not sure what his big crime is. If he's trolling...report it so myself and others know. That's the whole point of the report button...to bring something to the attention of the mods.
Did I say there is no justification for moderating this sort of behavior? I don't think I did. Sorry if you got that implication but I wasn't trying to say that. We try to make everyone happy on but I didn't realize he was as big of a problem that needed to be dealt with as you guys make it out to be. When you started this thread some of the mods discussed things and came to the conclusion at the time that he's annoying but hasn't warranted a ban.
It's somebody who annoys you because of how he posts. Put him on ignore. If he breaks rules or becomes a real problem we'll deal with it.

So Rob doesn't get so much as a warning but the CappDogg parody account was banned. That's great hustle, you guys.

Considering it's the off season and not everyone else is on here every single day has it occurred to you that sometimes it takes time and discussion between the moderators to come to an agreed upon decision? We are currently working on having a group chat session for a variety of topics like we have done in the past but real life responsibilities and problems keep getting in the way. This topic is going to be discussed further and we're going to try and take action that will satisfy as many as possible but because we aren't taking action right away against an annoying poster you paint us like this evil conspiracy group. There are more important things to life than whether or not iamarob should be banned from Inforoo right away.
You say that it's okay for others to troll if they just troll a few people they don't like. Seriously? So if guys want to troll a few members you/they dislike it's cool but if someone else is annoying and/or trolling you then it's an issue that needs to be addressed right away.
No support for Garbage Day here. I think it may backfire on a few...if ya know what I mean. ;-)
There will always be something to complain about. I am sure of that, some of you here confirm that for me on a daily basis.
Anyway, thought I would add my two cents worth. Saw itrainmonkeys actually try and have a conversation about some of the topics. I commend him for that.
Reporting posts is the best way to bring to light somebody you think needs to be looked at closer. It works. DO IT. :-)
Here is an idea. "There is a poster's thoughts and words I vehemently disagree with because of moral grounds and in return we shall use more words in hateful ways like a well formed mob to isolate him and tell him why he sucks. That will show him."
I guess you guys are gonna do what your going to do. Been in a lot of online forum communities from poker, tax law, health and fitness to white hat hacking. I am a big believer that diverse community is a community that thrives. A lot of this is from the "state your opinions as facts" thread... These are words, on a monitor, where we sit behind these screens in the safety of our own space always able to formulate our own independent cohesive decision on any subject or topic. We can engage or dis-engage and when we do that we choose what that processes will look like. I can think of two instances on this forum where I picked poorly on how my engaging looked like. I can pick a few where it looked great. But, I can say this thread is shameful the way a lot are choosing to engage this in my opinion.
If your sick of me please don't make a public thread and humiliate me like a pack of hungry dogs. This is like the cool kids thread here. Just PM to delete my account or something no biggie.
Emoney got banned for posting pictures of Skrillex. Can we stop acting like there's a rubric you guys use and it's entirely up to your personal feelings towards a person?
How come the people who are the most condescending and who put their opinions on a pedestal always the first to get so sensitive? Take a look at the way some of you have treated others in the past and that might make it clear why IMAROB isn't getting banned. He is more offensive, I'll give you that, but I've seen people being lambasted and called names for their taste in music, politics, and any other thing you can have a thread about. This is literally the pot calling the kettle black, it's just the pot is a very dark grey.
