Bully isn't quite the word I would use for him, but if we banned everyone who made posts people didn't like, there'd be a lot less people here. If you check his post history, I am one of the OG people to have an issue with the guy, so don't mistake this as approval of what the guy does.

There are people here who say mean things sometimes (guilty), and there are people who antagonize other members for one reason or another (also sometimes guilty). Those things arent great. But I think there's a difference between having specific beliefs or issues with other boarders and just antagonizing single mothers, smokers and WalMart shoppers at random for no reason.
I'm not around enough to know all the ins and outs. I just know that when the inforoo mob decides they don't like someone, y'all can be pretty ruthless. Just keep that in mind. No matter how much of an asshole someone is or isn't, having an entire thread dedicated to how much you suck, sucks.

I think the public shaming may be enough. Some of the more heinous posts have been edited, and the recent posts seem to be about music rather than antagonizing for no good reason.
Would I want to talk to that poster, ever? No. But if banning on the basis of doochery becomes vouge, this place is gonna get real quiet.
Both of his avatar selections have been equally terrible/annoying as his posts. But yeah, I don't think he has violated any of the board guidelines other than maybe "being rude" (which we're all guilty of, albeit in a joking manner the majority of the time) but I would venture as to call it "annoying" in his case rather than "rude." And the fact that the latest incident that rustled some of your jimmies happened in the "state your opinions as facts" thread kinda makes that post void from violating that guideline IMO. It was just an opinion and he offended some of you with it. big whoop. Same with the walmart and smokers argument. So I agree that we can't ban everyone that annoys us. And imarob is obviously not a troll...just a jackass DMB fan.
imarob is a grating, obnoxious, argumentative, condescending jerk-off and the bleeding hearts can stick their equality stuff right up their *ss if they think everyone is their own unique snowflake of feelings that should be respected and cherished. Some people are simply here to be a nuisance.
imarob sucks, but he won't be banned or even given a warning level. This is the same board who defended Sproat until his last gasp, none of this should surprise anyone.
