EDIT: Outkast was originally one of the Headliners you could rate, but they are now gone from the list. Either means they're going after them or they are unrealistic.

And instead of saying all of your goodbyes - let them know you realize that life goes fast - It's hard to make the good things last-you realize the sun doesn't go down - It's just an illusion caused by the world spinning round
I heard the logistics of this festival were horrible last year. The lineup was really appealing but everyone I talked to said I should be glad I didn't go. Hopefully they learned from their mistakes and make the changes they need to
I went two years ago and it was fine logistically, not ideal, but fine. There was one bad bottleneck and few water stations, but no real issues other than that. However, I heard this last year had horrible traffic issues and that the bottleneck wasn't really fixed despite the fact that they expanded the capacity.
This festival is pretty good though. The forest, hammocks, and wine area were all great ideas that made the festival a little different. However, I wasn't really a fan of the crowd (extremely bro-y), and due to the layout they only had 2 stages running at a time and they had to end by I believe 11, meaning fairly short sets. The lineup also seems to drop off in quality pretty quickly after the first few lines.
Overall, I definitely prefer Bonnaroo, but if this is more conveniently located it definitely isn't a bad choice. I think it's actually a little more expensive when all is said and done (since there isn't any free camping), but it was still a fun experience. However, I really enjoyed getting to see some great bands with much smaller crowds and it seems like next year will have a MUCH larger capacity than two years ago, so that probably won't be the case anymore. Can't wait to see where they go in years to come though. The survey linked above seems to really show that they care about making a solid lineup and I'm hopeful that they will only go up from here.

I went to Firefly last year and although I really enjoyed the lineup, the layout of the festival is somewhat awkward and seemed overcrowded. One downside is that you have to pay for camping. I spent the extra on VIP camping and it was worth it. They seemed overwhelmed with demand last year because many of the wristbands were broken or lost in the mail due to really poor packaging. I ended up with two camping passes and my wristband taped to the outside of the flimsy box by the post office. I probably wouldn't go unless the lineup is spectacular. Last year was really exhausting driving to Roo then to Delaware the next weekend and back home to New Hampshire..
Iv gone the last two years and volunteered at the first one. My only complaint is too few water stations and I wish it went all night like Roo. Although they did push the cut off to 2 am last year which was nice. But for me late night is the best part of festivals.
Well not too sure. They had 4 like big stages, then they had that weird like DJ Club dome thing, and like a small cafe stage. I guess it was probably 7 stages all together. You could tell they were doing something to prepare for next year, with all the fenced off areas and mulch on the ground. I think i am Volunteering this year

If you count the hub stage out in the camping area and the dj dome thing, then last year they actually had 8 stages total.. I'm guessing they are just adding another big stage this year.

Wonder if theyll have 4 headliners.. Last year they only really had 2 headliners. Foster The People closing on Sunday was god awful and most people left early.
The thing I loved about this fest the first year it happened was how solid of a lineup it had for how small it was. It seems like they are entirely abandoning that smaller size and trying to compete with the big festivals in the US, however if they don't round out the undercard, then I just don't think it will be a good festival. The first year I was able to see so many bands from super close up, but looking at this video and at their plans for the future, it looks like that won't be the case at all anymore, and with the logistical issues that they had last year, I just feel like they may be expanding way too quickly. I hope they have a lot of success and manage to get a killer lineup this year, but personally I'm not really a fan of their direction.
The map looks HUGE now. I'm kinda a fan of how they're expanding. I felt like i got real close for the smaller stages, and was right in the place i wanted to be for the bigger ones. The only huge problem was the traffic the first day. That was absolutely ATROCIOUS and they need to figure out a way to fix that. Living in South Jersey, it takes me normally an hour and fifteen minutes to get to Dover.... The first day to try and get down there... took 6 hours... Was infuriating. Still had fun with a bunch of friends. But my god was that horrible

not necessarily my experience, it was very very disorganized, the super volunteers who were in charge of regular volunteers and kept tabs didn't even know what they were suppose to do, didn't know how to do check in, etc. In response many volunteers that did all of their shifts got charged like 200 dollars or however much a ticket plus camping was, just was a total shitshow behind the scenes

Cyber Monday sale is selling 4-day passes for $199. Really going to consider this considering it's not too far from where I live. How's camping at this festival?

My friends had to cross the 8 lane highway last year to get where they were camping. Now if that was a staff lot or not im not sure. You could also get parked close to the highway with just a couple feet of treeline in between. I also herd that a few stages are just far and away from the main center. Firefly is growing and evolving as any fest does. They added space and i believe 10000 tix last year. I wish I could go but taking off the week prior for Roo just kills my chances for another 4 days off. Hoping for a good Sunday schedule/headliner for a daypass.

Love how they misspell Festival in the very first line.
Someone just posted that on reddit; has to be a fake, right?
That lineup is obscenely fake! Which i'm pretty happy about..
Pink? Bjork? I'd stay home I think..
I'm onboard with most in saying the Foo Fighters. I don't know where the rumour was born but there's just so many people who are enthusiastic about the idea.
For some reason I could see Billy Joel or Neil Young doing a show, and hopefully DMB. Neil, DMB and Foo are my dream headliners at this point
Just out of curiosity, have you been to a Bjork show? I was only introduced to her music before last year's Roo, and her show was my favorite of the weekend. I'm thinking about doing Firefly instead of Roo this year because it's closer, and if she were there it would absolutely be a decision maker for me. Unfortunately, I highly doubt she'll be there.
Went last year and already have tickets for this next year but I would be so disappointed if that was the lineup... especially after having such a great 2013 lineup, definitely had the best undercard I've seen in a long time.
Not really sure what to hope for on the lineup... lots of artists will be in Europe during the weekend, it'll be interesting to see who they nab. Kinda sucks that Counterpoint is getting Outkast, likely instead of us. Especially since Counterpoint is basically an EDM festival...
Imagine Dragons: I can't guarantee we won't play either of those festivals, but I think it's unlikely. As for Firefly Festival, however.... I'm not saying anything, but you may want to keep that date open.
