Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Plenty of sick after party shows also. Don't have all that info but one that shouldn't be missed is Fikus 12/28 - Phish after-party at Sullivan Hall in NYC w/more to be announced. If the more is who I heard but not confirmed it will be insane.

This is a great thread!
I always hated NYE, such an amateur night. My friends always say "come to Pittsburgh and come to stupid bar or club that is going to be way overcrowded and not worth the price to get in." I always say no to it, and when I ask them about it the next day, no one ever has that great of a night.
Last year I made the trek with three friends to Boston to see MMJ's New Years show and it by far the best time I ever had for New Years. Such a great show.
This year I am not sure where I'll be spending my New Year's but it will more than likely be at a concert somewhere.
And For you Jam-Band fans and you Ohio folks The Werks 12/31 Newport Music Hall - Columbus Ohio

I completely agree on all accounts. I've always thought NYE was overrated. My last "fun" NYE was my senior year in college. Last year I also did MMJ in Boston (along with a bunch of Inforoo people) and it changed my view on NYE
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.

Off topic but I have to ask if it effected anyone else last year at MMJ. The concession people would not sell me a beer during that show because they said I had to be over 25 years old with an out of state ID. Did anyone else here or anybody you know have that problem? This was the only damper on what was a great and memorable night, that a 23 year old could not get a beer with a valid ID, I was pretty furious.

I've been dealing with the Boston arenas ID policy for years.

I do remember people saying to bring a passport if you are under 25... I was 27 at the time, so I did not have an issue to begin with. I can't remember if the younger chaps had an issue or if they brought a passport or what...

I was at Moon Taxi at 3rd and Lindsley last year for NYE. Thoroughly enjoyed it. This will be my first year at Bassnectar. After the videos I saw of last year, I need to be a part of that.

Echostage. It's actually a great venue. They mostly do big EDM shows, but it's just a giant open floor with all the VIP stuff stashed away in the balcony. Not a lot of needless EDM nightclub BS.
