Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.

So for those that are going to STS9 in Atlanta, anyone doing all 5 nights of the 5 night run? Or is everyone mostly choosing a couple or so nights to enjoy? Also has anyone seen the STS9 NYE show before? I saw Umphrey's McGee 2008/9 NYE show in Chicago which was amazing but slightly disappointing because A. I missed the first half of the show, and B. they only played til 11 p.m! I usually hope for a countdown at least at a freakin' New Year's show. But don't get me wrong they killed it as usual. What can we expect from STS9 on their 5 night run?

I was just hoping people would click it and be like "eeeeeeew, I want to do this instead." But if nothing in there interests anyone, whatever. I personally agree that Andrew WK would be a very fun NYE show though. NYC gets too many choices.

It was a great time. Subsonics opened and were awesome. Bradford Cox joined the Black Lips for a couple songs and I got to talk to him for good bit after the show. It really made the year for me. He also said that we will get to hear those hundreds of songs one day that were made during the Monomania sessions.
