Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Let's try to broaden this conversation a bit. Here's my list 1) potential headliners 2) rumored performers and 3) people I'm just expecting/hoping to be there. Who am I missing?
Possible Headliners: Kanye Pearl Jam Arctic Monkeys Outkast Tool Soundgarden Coldplay Justin Timberlake (longshot)
This list sums it up to now. The headliners come from this pool. Anybody else has to be classified as a surprise. I feel like Lolla is going big this year. 2011 was huge up top. The last two years have been average at the top.

North Coast is the absolute worst festival I attended last year.
Think of all the annoying obnoxious kids you sometimes run into at other festivals, and that is the ENTIRE crowd at North Coast. I'd be shocked if the average age of patrons is higher than 18.
Not to mention the logistics of the festival are glaringly awful.

haha, that was my favorite Chicago fest last year. Probably for the same reason you hate it.
i wish it was possible to enjoy an edm act at lolla... le sigh...
That's currently not possible?
not when the first set you go to at perry's in cherub at like 12 in the afternoon and 5 minutes in young kid passes out in front of me and starts having a seizure

Oh, well sadly that's far from an exclusively Lollapalooza problem.
Ive been to north coast ever year, last year the storms dampered the fest. The amount of 18 year old neon is overwhelming indeed, I find it pretty hilarious. They also have problems with sound leaking everywhere from stage to stage. Besides last year I always have loved NC. Chemical brothers was amazing the first year. Hopefully they bring back tribe or bassnectar again this year. I am still confident lolla will definitely get outkast. They would be silly not to, I don't think theyre stupid like bonnaroo.

I beleive last year the suprise was a lineup release date, really hoping it's the lineup though.
Quoted the wrong post...meant to quote the osh tweet.
London Grammar, the Men, St. Lucia, Chvrches, Lorde, Joey Badass, the 1975, Jack White, the Oh Hellos, Skrillex, J. Cole, Four Tet, Arctic Monkeys, Nick Cave, Bro Safari, Haim, Danny Brown, Volcano Choir, Old Crow Medicine Show

So are we assuming that the "out" means Outkast? Does that mean it is less likely for them at Lolla?
Osheaga makes outkast more probable. The biggest strike against outkast is summer fest and the history there. I still feel like outkast is the most probable headliner we have at this point. But hell, I'm tired of speculation at this point.
One thing I do know is, there are a lot of big names being thrown around. We shall see soon enough. Hopefully this osheaga stuff puts some pressure on them.

I know Lolla and Chella had Phoenix as a headliner last year, but I don't see Lolla placing Arctic Monkeys in a headlining spot. Pre-headliner at best.
Here's that scenario
Choose between Tool and Arctic Monkeys Choose between Coldplay and Arctic Monkeys Choose between Arctic Monkeys and Outkast Choose between Kings of Leon and Arctic Monkeys Choose between Pearl Jam and Arctic Monleys Longshot: choose between Justin Timberlake and Arctic Monkeys
I just don't see it happening.
I agree that Lolla will have a beastly lineup.
My current logical theory for lineup Friday: Tool vs Coldplay Saturday: Tha Strokes vs Outkast Sunday: Pearl Jam vs Kings of Leon
My dream headliner list Friday: Tears for Fears vs Outkast Saturday: Radiohead Sunday: Pearl Jam vs Kings of Leon
