For whatever reason you really are going to great lengths to dump on this thread. I know you know what type of headliners are usually booked for Lolla, there really hasn't been anything posted in here that is that far fetched. Someone other than Pearl Jam and Outkast need to headline this thing.
He's just attempting to take over Jugg's role. Horn, how many times have you been to Lolla? Are you planning on going this year?

I actually followed that up with a serious post but Inforoo ate it. I just feel 90% of the speculation (here and on the lolla board) is Metallica, Pearl Jam, Outkast, KoL, Untz, (one other band). That's just boring to me, both in terms of speculation and as an actual lineup.
Outkast is a lock and Arctic Monkeys will likely headline the North Stage. Soundgarden is due, Tool seems like a strong bet and the Strokes could be in play. I could see Foster the People coming back as a North Stage headliner. Kanye is completely in play. NYCH fits with the Lolla ethos but for some reason hasn't been mentioned.
It's just weird that a lot of people around here seem to WANT Lolla to recycle the same old names.

2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, and 2012. Most likely will go this year.
Phyre Fest, were there any other questions I can answer for you?

NYCH fits the Lolla demo?
Ask Pearl Jam and Foo Fighters who their biggest influences were. Neil will be right at the top.
Edit: I forgot NYCH's Euro tour goes into August, so rule them out.
When do the 3 day passes go on sale? Any word on that yet? I just don't have the time anymore to stay up to date with the festival information as I used to. I'm dead set on doing a festival this year. Didn't do a single one last year, and I am going through serious withdrawals. The Bonnaroo lineup drop really made me want to go to Manchester and see Kanye's redemption set, but it's just not feasible. I hope the webcast it. So I'm dead set on Lolla. I want to make sure I get one of those passes.

Please give me PJ, NYCH, and Outkast. Please.
I just edited my post above, I forgot NYCH had shows in Europe on 8/1 and 8/8, so that's not happening.
My Morning Jacket could kick off their new album tour at Lolla. They played in 2011, but it was the North Stage so it wouldn't bee too soon to come back.
Edit: Coldplay also played the North Stage that year, which amazes me. I could possibly see them returning if it was one of a select number of dates they did in 2014.

I would be one happy camber with MMJ.
I'm getting the feeling lots of things would make you happy.
How impossible is it to get those really cheap tickets that they release? Can anyone get them, or do you have to be apart of some promotion? I've never been to Lolla but I remember reading something about them releasing tickets for less than $100

I M P O S S I B L E.
Even if you are on the page at the right time. However.....there are backdoors to the ticketing system they use and it is your only chance.

You have exactly .5 seconds to get to them when they go on sale.

There was a few people on the Lolla board that got them last year. There was a poster that people was calling "Symb" that was helping people and something about the "backdoor"....yeah I know.
Can't really make sense of what is what over there.
I remember last year, that those tickets were gone within a matter of a couple seconds. My wife and I were trying to score them, and we just kept hitting refresh. One click they weren't onsale, and on the next they were gone. Does anyone know the number of those that are available?
The Goldens are damn near impossible, but I still try every year. Make sure you're following the Lolla Twitter/Facebook/Instagram as they'll drop pretty obvious hints when they're getting ready to go on sale. I'm not sure how many they make available, but it's got to be a very low number. Early birds are more realistic, as long as you're online right when they go on sale you should be able to grab them.

Last year was rough for tickets though. I went to grab one at noon just figuring what the hell might as well get a ticket in case I go. Nope. Three days sold out in less than 4 hours.
I don't know. I read an interview with Noel, and he seemed pretty dead set against it, but who knows. If i had to put many on it, I would say that they were correct in assuming that it's a re-issue or some kind of box set.
How likely is Kid Cudi? I know he played Lolla awhile back, but he put out a new album last year and this week. He is playing Lolla Chile, Argentina, and Brazil in April as well as Coachella.
I'm not much into hip-hop/rap but Outkast/Kid Cudi are near the top for me. Be awesome to see them both in one weekend.
Outkast are headlining Summerfest on June 29th. Headliners usually don't play both because the festival falls with Lolla's radius clause. I don't think this rules Outkast out, but it makes their booking more uncertain.

That's something Lolla would likely have made an exception for. Outkast likley made themselves available to Lolla with the understanding that they would whore themselves out to any and every festival willing to pay their booking fee.
