Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
ABB were also already announced for Lockin' (or whatever) so I don't see any reason why they wouldn't be on the initial lineup poster. My guess is MMJ for the last headliner and will be announced after OBH along with other festival dates. Might just be wishful thinking
MMj hasn't been at MJ since '11... It's about time!
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
They've also announced that there is another headliner TBA.. It's gotta be Allman or Cheese
Is there a possibility that Allman be the last? I thought I heard somewhere that Wanee and Peach (and the NY run) is all they are doing this year? Don't remember if I read that somewhere or it was word of mouth.
Someone on Facebook posted this picture and pointed out that it looks exactly like the blurred image they have on their website & app..the image is pretty blurry but I wouldn't be shocked
Also, after watching their announcement video it looks like both Umph sets will be Thursday night, and Dark Star will be Thursday night as well.
I hadn't actually looked on the app or the website til now, (I was relying on you guys and a GroupMe with my old MJ neighbors) so I hadn't seen that burred picture til now. It is looking like it's them

Ok, this is what I was thinking about before. Peach's FB says, "Join the Allman Brothers Band for their only 2014 two night Northeast festival appearance at this year's Peach Music Festival!" Unless they are being very specific about the "two night" part. If Allman does two nights at Peach and one at Mountain Jam, then they wouldn't be lying...

Maybe wishful thinking....but does the fact that Antibalas is at Mountain Jam, as well as two Americanarama artists(Tweedy and Weir) make MMJ likely to be the final headliner? I'm not sold on that picture being of the Allman Brothers

Ya they wouldn't have bothered to include the "two night" part if they weren't playing any northeast festivals. That quote reminds me of when a sports commentator talks about a QB's pass percentage when playing on a Thursday in a state ending with a vowel and in the rain.

Do you guys think SCI would be too big of an addition to go along with ABB?
EDIT: Wakarusa just added String Cheese Incident. Not sure if that helps or hurts. The 2 fests do share a few acts, and there's a chance that Mountain Jam couldn't announce before Waka...but I'm thinking it's probably a no go.
I think the Allman Bros are a lock. I have thought this before seeing the picture. It makes too much sense. Warren & Derek leaving after this year, they are both gonna be at MJ & it's the 10th Anniversary. I will be really surprised if it isn't them.
They are still going to be adding about 10 more bands though. Last year they added Franti, Kung Fu, Gaslight Anthem(even know they cancelled), White Denim, London Souls, Conspirator, Big Gigantic, etc.....so they should be adding some more good bands. I am with most of you that I would love to see SCI or MMJ as well but both would have to be headliners(you would think). How cool would it be if one of those bands settled for a secondary spot? Pretty unlikely, but would be very cool. I am anxious to see who they add. I'm really hoping for Robert Randolph, Dr Dog, Felice Bros, Marco Benevento, John Butler Trio(doubt it), Railroad Earth, Xavier Rudd, etc.....Hopefully they get at least a couple of those. Last year they announce on Feb 26, so we prob have around a month or so to wait.
MJ headliners are always the trendy topic, but the undercard bands are what I love about MJ. Last year you had Revivalists, SIMO, Futurebirds, 4ontheFloor, Kung Fu, etc......This year we have Reignwolf(INCREDIBLE), The Weeks, J.Wilson, Moon Taxi, Valerie June, Antibalas. We are in for a treat with some of these.
So I figure that Allmans are a definite, 2 more late night adds are coming most likely and hopefully 1 or 2 more bands that play right before the headliners. Then some more undercards. Wonder if Gaslight Anthem will show up, since they cancelled last year? It's always fun trying to figure this shit out.
Hey @gambit88 do you have any idea if PL is still going to be touring with the full band?
He's still doing both. But the full band shows are dwindling, and I'd wager that since Mountain Jam is just billing it as Pretty Lights instead of "Pretty Lights and His Band" or "Pretty Lights Analogue Future" that this will just be a DJ Set.. The problem is Break Science is in his full band, so he has to schedule those shows around their dates (and they just put out a new album and are already announced for a bunch of fests/dates including Roo which is the weekend after MJ).

clevelndmike This year will only be my second (first in '12), but I'll be happy to answer any questions that you may have. My main suggestion is to spring for VIP or mountaintop camping (I'm VIP). Or if you do have to do regular GA, get there as early as you possibly can or you'll be sleeping on an incline!

Yeah, I probably can't help you with the tickets, but yayyy Roo!! If you are super desperate later on and are willing be down a drastic amount, I might be able to get people. I know a couple that are super broke, but want to go. If the price was right they miiight bite.
EDIT: Wait... non-camping? I doubt they'd go for that.
