I am really jealous of anyone who saw Damon Albarn. Outkast was great but billboard was tweeting great things about his set. Can't wait for Jack White and the Earlwolf show tomorrow.
I'll post more later but La Roux really surprised me. Everything else was as expected. The crowd reminded me of Lollapalooza.

I started off watching Outkast, who were awesome, but we were so far back for their set. So after about a half hour of them I ran to Damon Albarn….best decision I made all day. He was amazing. There was actually more people there than I was expecting, but it was still very intimate and he killed it.
Run the Jewels were extremely entertaining. Bastille was packed but good. Phoenix was awesome, they really exceeded my expectations.
OutKast was just so freaking good to finally see. I danced and sang and basically wore myself out. Now I'm firing it up for day 2. Currently on NJ transit in to Penn.
One awful thing - the ferry line after. There's going to be an issue one of these nights. I almost saw 2 fights and the NYPD had to stop a large group from storming through a fence.
Also VIP is insanely worth it for every stage but the Big Apple. The viewing area at the main stage is so big you have a great view and sound from the back.
Hey everyone heading to the island now. Let me know if anyone wants to meet up! I AM wearing a blue tank top with a straw hat with last year's bandanna wrapped around it. Also outkast was dope... But Damon albarn was dooooopppppeeee

The Strokes are killing it. Really surprised they are not the Sunday headliner. They seem much more deserving of it. Absolutely ecstatic Jack White is playing tonight. We are just hanging on the hillside watching the crazies stumble around fest haha.

Earlwolf show was just about what I expected. I was starting to fade at the end of the show but we stuck around and we are getting ready for day three. Yesterday The Strokes and Jack were my obvious favorites. No real surprises for me yesterday. Looking forward to seeing Banks, Vampire Weekend, and Foster today. We'll take it easy.
Jack was awesome last night, as were The Strokes. Spoon was another highlight for me as was Fitz and the Tantrums. Thought Disclosure was disappointing, but everything else, including weather and generally the crowd size, was great all day.

Hangingin one of the Miller lite shade area things waiting on cayucas. Then wandering around. Jack was amazing and other shows rocked. People up front suck. I need civilized crowds. This squishing shit can only be tolerated so much. I enjoy breathing.
Chance and childish yesterday together was a highlight.

Heyy!! You going to see banks today? Trying to meet up?

I'm at banks now....where you at?
If you are looking at the stage I am in front of the sound board towards the left center. I have a straw hat and a camel bak... Maybe Toulousesee this...
I AM next to the really tall dude in the red tank top you can't miss him
I enjoy tons of songs by both of them, but Foster the People into Vampire weekend may have been the most anticlimactic festival close ever.
Phoenix into OutKast and The Strokes into Jack White probably ruined me the past two nights, but zzzzzz.
I also talked to human beings who were happy to have missed Jack White for Skrillex. They tended to be under 24 and it makes me sad for our future as people.
Top 5 shows: 1. Jack White 2. OutKast 3. Phoenix 4. Frank Turner 5. Everyone else with an honorable mention for Run the Jewels and Bleachers.

6/5-6/6 - Gentleman of the Road - Seaside
6/17-6/21 - Firefly
7/22 - U2 @ MSG
9/5-9/6 - Made in America - Philly
1. Jack White 2. Outkast 3. Empire of the Sun (gets award for best singalong crowd) 4. Foster the People 5. Phoenix
Damn. Knew I shoulda gone to Empire. Only regret of the weekend. (That and not getting a hotel, that train taxi ferry combo twice daily sucked)
It was just one big funky dance party that brought the festival full circle. It was my third time seeing them and they were just as good if not better than at roo last year (I was rail for them at roo last year).
I was just about 10th row for Outkast and Phoenix, but Jack White's White Stripes heavy setlist was uncontestably outstanding.

I saw Foster the People last year at Firefly and they disappointed me. I was willing to give them one more shot and it was better, but not something I can really groove too.
Top five 1.Jack White 2.The Strokes 3.Outkast 4.La Roux 5. Tie between Bastille and Vampire Weekend
Really glad everyone enjoyed Phoenix. I decided to save that for Bonnaroo.

The Strokes rocked. Wasn't able to enjoy them at the level I wanted to though because it was so flipping hot on the concrete.
