So wait....Outkast is really confirmed? I just read something about it in another thread....That's epic. I definitely need to try for this one this year. I waited too long and missed out on Kanye last time. Since I'm not doing Coach and don't expect them for Roo I'd love to catch this show.
The fact that someone going all "I have sooper seekrit infoz!" isn't really trustworthy?
No hard feelings guys, I just wish I had put down money with you =p
FWIW, I'm glad you're correct.
Right on man. But it's not like I did anything requiring skill. I got some info and passed it on. I take nothing personally =).
Im just glad I helped create some buzz for friends (although the whole point of leaking info was to increase sales for a presale that never happened lol). But I hope more folks from here attend Gball and it grows into a premiere fest for ppl around the country.

Been going to this fest since its inception in 2011 and it really has grown to be something quite special for the city of New York. And it's looking like this might be its best year yet. I'm hoping they book some more adventurous acts this year to help foster an even more diverse lineup than last year's edition. If anyone is on the fence, it's an excellent excuse to visit NY and the vibe is on par with some of the bigger festivals in the country. It's a great time - despite torrential rain. Oh, and OutKast will be there. So yea.
I always look at it as a roo warm up! Or a cool down depending on the dates. Either way a great time.
Asking for that much time off in the same month would be career suicide for me, unfortunately.
Makes sense. Since I'm local it's not really tough to just show up Friday after work and then spend the weekend couch surfing in Brooklyn.. Hope you figure out a way to make it work!
Welp, I already bought Mountain Jam tix, but I would think Outkast is a lock for that too, right? Same state, same weekend, vibes and shit....
I'm thinking they are out of Mountain Jam's price range and also just not a good fit (if this was serious at all). I think we'll end up getting a Big Allman Brothers farewell show considering it's Warren's festival.

Nah they already said the new lineup clue isnt for Outkast. Its Kurt Vile. Curt is synonym for short. Picture of a short vial.
So far we got Outkast, Phoenix, Disclosure, Broken Bells and Kurt Vile. And the fact that Phoenix isnt a headliner makes me even more excited for how massive this year might be.

I may have missed it, but how do we know that Phoenix is a non-headliner?

Thats actually just my guessing. It just seemed weird that they revealed them with a lineup clue. From my recollection, for the festivals that do these lineup clue games they never reveal headliners.
Also, aside from Coachella and Lolla, none of Phoenix's festival appearances last year were as headliners. Best they had was being a subheadliner for Beyonce at Made in America.
