Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Yeah, finally a schedule. Going to this for the first time this year. excited beyond belief as Frank Turner and Jason Isbell are two of my favorite artist!
Question for anyone who has camped at the festival before. How much space do you have? are you packed in like Bonnaroo? Is it a big land grab? The only reason I am concerned is because we had five people going so we were taking two vehicles. Now 1 can't go and we could all fit in one vehicle which would be nice since we have 3 1/2 hr drive. But we have a couple tents and ez ups so it may not be possible if they force us into a small space. Thanks for any info!

Last year there was plenty of space for everyone. I was worried there wouldn't be room for my wife, who was coming late Friday, but she was able to pull right in beside my car and the tent and EZ Up I'd set up for us. There also was a TON of open space all around us. Granted, space is likely a function of the camping crowd, so a lot could depend on whether this year's lineup draws more people than last year's. Still, I think you'll be fine.

This festival is pretty alright. I'll never forget sliding through the mud during a thunderstorm waiting for Wilco.
Wasn't sure if I was going to go this year, and I was looking around the website to see if anything stuck out and made me so "Shit, I definitely gotta go now" and I think I found it.

I love how the bands I want to see are spread out across this schedule. All of Thursday's bands look interesting. Kurt Vile -> Dinosaur Jr. then over to The Men will be fantastic on Friday evening. I'm kind of surprised Saintseneca is playing so early on Saturday, but there are many good looking bands throughout the day. Any suggestions for Sunday? I don't really know anyone playing that day. Bands usually play about 45-60 minutes - headliners for a bit longer, I believe.
I really wish I could justify a trip to Nelsonville. It's under 3 hours from me and they booked a lot of bands that I love. But I just can't take a whole weekend off at this time. Boo.

I feel the same way. I've been trying to figure out how to make this work and I just can't. My favorite days aren't back-to-back either, so it would really cost me $$ and vacation time. Oh well. Wish there was live stream at least!

So anyone else planning on heading on down tomorrow or Friday? I plan on pulling in tomorrow and setting up camp in the campground not long after the gates open.

I'm leaving tomorrow after work so I'll probably roll in at like 7ish with my brother. Look for a silver volvo station wagon with an 8 foot table for beer pong if you wanna find me haha!
I probably will not be able to make it tomorrow because of work but plan on leaving first thing Friday morning and arriving around noon - 1 o clock anyone who wants to grab a beer PM me!
I'm leaving tomorrow. No idea what time though... Probably late-ish evening so I don't have to set up in the blazing sun. Liiiike, 5 or 6 maybe? I'll have a hot pink canopy and I'll be the girl trying to set up said hot pink canopy alone...

I thought you had decided on not going because of a little brothers graduation or something like that??
I did giggle a little bit trying to picture some random girl struggling with her hot pink ez-up so thanks!
Anyway I dont really have anything that stands out too much for my campsite. I have a Gentlemen of the Road flag I got for working the Troy stopover I may attach to my EZ up... prob not though because that requires a little bit of extra effort... I'm going solo so I'll be the sweaty lonely looking dude who is drunk by noon

I wasn't going to go, but thanks to Gibran I'm going and will be writing a review of the festival to accompany the photos he will be taking throughout the weekend. Don't worry though, this only came to fruition like last week or so.
soooooo I'LL BE THERE!
also, so jealous you worked GotR! I wanted to go to that soooo badly, but work just 110% got in the way and there was no way around it. I marked off "sick" for All Good and got in trouble over it, so I couldn't do the exact same thing just a couple of weeks later for GotR... it was so sad because I love Mumford!

Oh I got to do some really cool stuff at GotR. I had my own golfcart, got to drive artists around, basically could do whatever the F I wanted to. I worked like 300% as many hours as I had to because it was so much fun! I'm from Troy originally and was really suprised with how well they pulled it all off. Gotta wrap up at work now, but I got some beer sharing stories for this weekend for one new friend at least?? lol

I'll be arriving around 4 or 5 tomorrow, er, today. I'll have a tan Honda Accord and a white ez-up. Also I'll probably wear my old old school Bonnaroo shirt on Thursday. See you all in Nelsonville!

Wasn't sure if I was going to go this year, and I was looking around the website to see if anything stuck out and made me so "Shit, I definitely gotta go now" and I think I found it.
I remember that. We were on that line of people who slowly crept up to the rail as they yelled at us to get back. :-) Found our campsite had been demolished by that storm, but who the hell cares after being on the rail for Wilexico?
We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.

I'd say it was my favorite night at a festival. Ended up on the rail right in the center. Would have gotten some great pics but the rain killed my camera.
The rain also killed our tent, we left the screen unclosed, so we had to sleep in the car. Totally worth it
Sooooo who's all going to this? I'll be camped alone, everyone is free to come say hi and have a few beers with me. Black Mazda with tinted windows with an Ekoostik Hookah "e" sticker on the back windshield. And of course my unnecessarily large hot pink canopy.
See everyone this weekend!
Wait, we can't camp by our cars, can we? Never mind. Just look for the hot pink canopy.
You can camp by your cars. I'm in and set up - with a big blue topped EZ Up and two Grateful Dead tapestries. Campground is filling in nicely already.
YAY FOR CAMPING BY CARS!!!
I still have to load up the car, shower, and make a stop at walmart... I'm hoping to be there by....5? that's the goal anyways, will probably be closer to 6.

Oh yeah and a big red eazy up stop by I have beer and liquor
Urgent!!! Can you have glass in the campground area my brothers dumb and bought glass beer
They didn't even check our cars so I'm not sure.
Also, we're here. Camped to the left behind the first set of portos you see when you pull in. Blue canopy over my tent, pink canopy in front of it. Come say hi!
Eventually I'll have some tapestries up, but I haven't gotten that far yet.
How is security going into the actual gates? It says no cameras with detachable lenses on their website but I am usually able to get my camera in pretty easy.

Super delayed, but I didn't see them checking cars at all.
Just realized that you meant into the concert area. I can't comment on that because we by passed the line. They were doing a quick glance from what I saw. But the camera thing was kinda sorta enforced? I'm sure they'll stop you.

Last night the bag check consisted of shining a flashlight into my bag and that was it super layer back it could be different today but who knows
What an awesome weekend! Acts I loved: - Avett Brothers. You could tell they have a real fondness for southeast Ohio and not only from their words. They brought the energy. - Dinosaur Jr. I was slightly pissed most of the crowd left, but it didn't seem to deter the band. What a tight three-piece, and it was a personal dream come true to see them up close like that. - Quilt. Saw them twice, once on the porch stage. A neat discovery. - Head and the Heart. They seem to be getting better and better. - Kurt Vile. Kick a#% set, from start to finish. - Jason Isbell. First time seeing him, and I was blown away. I honestly could go on and on. It was such a perfect weekend. The setting, with all the surrounding hills, the log cabin village and the way they light up the trees at night, is impressive, and the people, for the most part, were friendly. I guess they set a record on Saturday night, with 7,000 attendees. I already plan on going back next year.
