I'm with you Postjack. I've seen most of the hardcore and metal bands tha came out of the 80's, but for some reason I've never seen them. You gotta figure if they aren't headlining, they would play Friday night since it's Halloween. Their Slatanism > Outkast costumes for my money on Halloween night. We'll see in 2 or 3 hours. Since my kids are somewhat raised properly (love rock, metal and EDM), we were trying to figure out who would headline Le Plur each day. Last year it was Afrojack, Calvin Harris and Bassnectar with Big G and Beats Antique as the sub headliners. Big G played during Jazzfest, and they are coming back for Mad Decent on 8/29. Beats played Voodoo and then Buku, so they're probably not on the card. Skrillex played in 2012, so he's a maybe. Guetta played Buku, and while Calvin played both last year, he's pretty big in NOLA. I'm hoping for a collaboration one of the nights - Grizmatik or something like that would be worth it. I saw Outkast at Hangout, and they were great. And last I'd seen Foo Fighters was at Deluna in 2012 which was awesome and where they savaged the corporate nature of Midtown Atlanta fest they did the night before compared to Pensacola Beach. And oh btw, Delnua was >>>>>>> Hangout (RIP)
For my money, all of $110, I'm loving Foo Fighters, Outkast, Artic Monkeys (were a giant surprise at ACL last year), Slayer, Pretty Lights (was okay at Hangout, but the full band set at Champions Square was awesome), Melvins, Action Bronson, Freedia, Shorty & Orleans Ave., Griz, Fishbone, Red Baraat, Soul Rebels, Lindsey Lowend (wtf???!?!?!), Herobust - although Trappy played a pretty good set at Wakarusa.
People always want to hate on Voodoo, but it's one of my favorite festivals every year. Party will be on!
Rebirth in there too. Great. Keeping NOLA real. I'm with you Matt. I've seen almost everyone I want to see on this lineup (except Slayer and maybe Rise Against which I'll have to research). But that's kind of what things are coming to now where we've seen most everything that's on most every lineup. Still pretty happy though I'm kind of surprised there is less hiphop/rap than I was expecting. Maybe someone in the undercard, but they usually have some random afternoon stuff (Nas last year) to fill that gap. I guess Action Bronson (who was a blast at Buku 2013) maybe fills that bill now.

Its possible they put Skrillex on the main stage, I wouldn't be completely surprised given the size of his "mothership", but I'm thinking we get another headliner announced in August/September.

Yes closing out Friday. Outkast closing Sat and FF Sunday is my guess.
Don't hold your breath on the addition of another main stage headliner, guys. Voodoo is known to let soft headliners close out the fest on sunday when they blow a healthy load on their EDM headliners and the undercard. (Jack White in 2012, The Raconteurs in 2011, and My Morning Jacket in 2010) Arctic Monkey are billed 4th at Lolla this year. And they will close the main stage at Voodoo. And just be glad that it's not RHCP (sorry in advance to their fans on here).
