Can anyone that has been to this before comment on the transportation available during the festival? I have found during other city festivals that public transportation is non existant and hailing a cab is next to impossible with all the people in town.
Hotels nearby are pricey but not insane. The hostel looks very nice and is very afordable but is 4 miles away from the fest.
Im considering making the trip to Chicago becasue I REALLY want to see St. Vincent, NMH, & Beck.

There's a train that drops you off right at the festival entrance. The way to the fest is pretty easy since the train stops in the Loop. On the way back the train is very crowded though there are some bars and stuff that are walking distance and will hold you over till they clear up.

Looks like Millenium Park will have something interesting going on Monday after P4K.

The special headliners for this Downtown Sound concert will be announced at a later date. The evening’s opener is Chicago’s Pillars & Tongues, performing cinematic art-rock with lush soundscapes and haunting vocals.
