That'd be a good name towards the top of the comedy lineup.
Could see the Workaholics guys come around again (but maybe not this year).
A lot of people were thinking Portlandia could make an appearance. If IFC is doing the comedy tent again that makes sense. Also, the Birthday Boys would be great (a new sketch comedy show on IFC).
^^^Went to double check and Eddie Izzard is booked up for every day except the 15th ... It went from probably to nope. Sad, it would have been a good show.
Maybe he will show up and roll around on the floor like he did on Fallon.
Yeah I think Cosby has just about lost it and ventured into crazy old man terriroty at this point.
I loved that interview though especially the way Jimmy got on his hands and knees like a kid to join Cosby on the floor. Then I enjoyed the scorns from The Roots after Bill told Quest he must not be from West Philly because of his high pitched voice.
They should just reuse the lineup of last years Oddball Comedy Tour: Dave Chapelle, Flight of the Conchords, Sarah Silverman, Kristen Schaal, Al Madrigal, Demitri Martin, Jim Jeffries, ect.
Bill Cosby is playing a bunch of shows through the year, but is free all of June.
Call me crazy, but I'm not sure Cosby would be for the general bonnaroo crowd. I'd go watch just to see if the wheels come off the train, if I didn't have to wait in line all freaking day

I can't imagine the wheels remaining on the train. I think the crazy old man lecture we'd receive would be hilarious.
I saw Bill Cosby about 12 years ago, and he was hands down the worst (professional) stand-up comedian I've ever seen live. I still enjoy old school Cos - but trust me, you don't want 2014 Bill Cosby at Bonnaroo.
Neither part of the phrase "stand-up comedy" is even accurate, because he just sat down to give us an 80-minute grandpa lecture about kids these days with their whacky haircuts and crazy rap music and what-not. It was awful.
(1) Damon Albarn (2) Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds (3) King Khan & His Shrines (4) Ty Segall (5) Ms Lauryn Hill (6) Darkside (7) Kanye (8) Janelle Monae (9) Goat (10) Meshuggah.
And for the love of God, put the comedy headliner on a stage.
I always see sentiments like this and have a thought. I'm just talking out of my ass here so keep that in mind. I listen to a lot of podcasts with comedians and many complain about the venue being a source of bad shows. They seem to like smaller environments whose elements are highly controlled. I think performing outdoors is not necessarily conducive to good comedy and might seem offputting for potential comedians. They'd be performing for a crowd that can wander off and competing with sound bleed. I know Chris Rock did it but obviously that's an exception to the rule when you think of the huge names they've had (Conan and Tosh could've filled that tent many times over).
I agree that the way the tent is run makes it pretty damn hard to see the bigger shows. I have my own little system for tickets but I keep that to myself haha. It can be frustrating to not get one because they do a good job with curation and it's kind of its own mini-festival. That frustration increases many times when someone waits in line for hours only to not get in. We got two of the last five tickets for Conan and I felt bad for all those behind us who were fucked. Bringing back Lunar to show the sets for those who don't get in might help some. Overall I'm pretty happy with the comedy tent but if they increased its size I certainly wouldn't complain.
