Haven't seen it yet, but from what I hear it was better than the past few. At least now the Mania card is shaping up. I'm not yet a fan of the Battle Royale though.

I dunno, it's a nice way to get a bunch of people on the card. I bet Cesaro's going to win it. And I laughed at the fact that it's 2014 and I'm still hearing Hulk Hogan Pontiac Silverdome promos.

But Holy Shit! Bryan with the double duty at WM30! Even if he doesn't win the title, that's some fucking card redemption right there.
Ya they have been doing if for years (except last maybe, not totally sure) just not advertised or televised. I think it's just a way to get guys on the card and unfortunately not as a way to get somebody over. I think Show will win it just because of the whole Andre angle.
Got tickets for Wrastlemania XXX in nola. Never been to one before...very excite. Especially after last night's doins.
3 of my friends already have WWE network subscriptions. I'm probably going to get one eventually. Just been too busy to utilize it lately. Can't wait to go back and watch the classic stuff.

I'm going to Mania too! Are you doing the entire weekends activities (Axxxess and Hall of Fame) or just the show?
Also, I highly recommend the network. It's fantastic. When I have time I've been going back through ppvs, starting with Mania 1. I'm up to Survivor Series 1987.
I'm not sure yet. It really depends on work and if my friend will be in town that weekend and I can stay there sat night. I really won't know until the week of.
That crowd is going to go fucking ape shit if/when Bryan wins the title and gets 70 whatever thousand doing the "Yes" schtick. I went from about a 3 out of 10 in excitement for Mania, to an 8 just from these developments.

I'm still hesitant to think he'll win the title at Mania. I definitely think he's going over HHH, though. They're not so horrible at booking to set up that kind of stipulation if he wasn't going to win that match. And with that, he'll get his "Mania Moment" and Vince will get his stadium full of people chanting "YES." But him being in that main event is enough to get people to buy the PPV, and Bryan can say he's properly main evented a Mania. But they probably promised the title to Batista in his contract or some dumb shit like that.

Uso's Big Show Summer Rae The Shield Bray Wyatt Taker HHH HHH
Anyone care to make it interesting?
I'm just going HHH a gambling standpoint. My better judgement tells me Bryan is walking out with the belt I just can't trust the E after the last few months, though hopefully that's what they have been building. I do think if Bryan wins the title there's no way he walks out of Raw with it tomorrow. I think if Batista is really getting a title run that's what will happen. If they have scrapped sai run for the greater good id like to see HHH walk out with the title and have one last good run with the strap til Summer slam.
Didn't think I'd get to get off early tonight, so I didn't plan on catching this (i.e. didn't subscribe to the Network)... but got home an hour into the show, following now...
If Daniel Bryan doesn't win this math I'm out.... My family is wondering why I'm crying........ If either win I'm done......cm punk needs to start his fed
The more I think about it, the more ok I am with it. Ultimately, the streak was Taker's to give in the first place. I remember hearing that Vince, Taker and Taker's opponent had to all three sign off in order to end the streak. And maybe Taker didn't want to leave it intact because he wanted to give a "holy shit" moment before he retired.
I think they know ending the streak would bring nuclear heat on whoever did it. So that's why they didn't give that to a face or a younger heel. Giving it to someone like Lesnar who could use that heat and have a dominant run, which would be good for business as he can then turn around and give the rub to a newer guy (like Daniel Bryan).
They just need to be very careful on how they book Brock over the next year. I hope fans don't shit on the product because of this because, while the match was lackluster, the end of that match and the fallout was/is amazing. Nobody thought WWE had the balls to do that and they did it.
Also, I'm usually not a fan of triple threats, but that match was fucking amazing. Not only for the obvious reason of DANIEL FUCKING BRYAN and how awesome he was, but Orton has been putting in some of his best work of his career this past year. And who was the third person in the triple threat? Can't remember him, OH YEAH, HHH. I guess Batista might have been ringside for the match.
That was the first time in a long time the main event of Wrestlemania was of actual main event caliber and hype.

You nailed everything. The biggest thing is really how they book Brock in 2014. I hate hate hate everything about it right now, but if they book him to kill everyone consistently for the next 18 months, and let Roman Reigns put him down, in ok with it in the long run. But really, the streak was Cenas to end..... I still can't believe it, after what Brock did to the industry 10 years ago .... And a lack luster match .... This is a punch in the face to Hbk, hhh, cena, and even cm punk. The streak had to end, just not like this. I know years ago, taker said he was fine jobbing to Brock, this just isn't right, but it will get people talking and might give the network the push it needs and if that's the case taker deserve to go down as the best ever.

After RAW tonight, and despite how unpopular his client's actions were last night, I just wanted to point out that Paul Heyman is a fucking national treasure to the world of wrestling. There's nobody today that can match his ability to cut a promo.
Also, I'm digging this uncertain face/heel dynamic that's going on with him managing both Lesnar and Cesaro.

But it wasn't really Lesnar's fault that the match was lackluster, it's just Taker's age (and probably the concussion he got earlier in the match). I could tell something was wrong when Lesnar was throwing those German suplexes and Taker was barely able to jump back with them. If this match took place in 2011 like was originally planned, the match would have definitely been better and it still would have been the right person to end it. People would still be upset, but at least people would be saying "at least the match was good." HHH, Cena or Punk rightfully shouldn't have been the ones to end it as they were full time and would have squandered the heat or the rub from the victory too soon. Though I think it would have been a fitting end to both the careers of HBK and Undertaker to have HBK end the streak and they both retire at that year's Wrestlemania.
Anyway, Lesnar gets to go into hiding and pop in here and there to hold this victory over people's heads. I'm thinking we won't see him until around Summerslam and if he has a massive run with the title that it will be later in the year where he'll hold it until next year's Wrestlemania.
Undoubtedly, Taker's going into the hall of fame next year or the year after.
And, last note... dat "Wyatt's gonna kill you" chant had me cracking up. Usually fans chant that at people who are brutal physically, but this guy got that chant on psychology alone.
Man, it's a great time to be a wrestling fan right now.
That was the most awkward feeling I've ever had at a live event of any kind. 75,000 people just in stunned silence for 10 minutes, all of us looking around going "What the fuck just happened?"

In the incredibly eerie and tragically sad department, Ultimate Warrior passed away tonight just 24 hours after he was on RAW talking about immortality.

"No WWE talent becomes a legend on their own. Every man's heart one day beats its final beat. His lungs breathe their final breath. And if what that man did in his life makes the blood pulse through the body of others and makes them bleed deeper in others something larger than life, then his essence, and his spirit will be immortalized by the story tellers, by the loyalty, by the memory of those who honor him and make the running the man did live forever. You are the legend makers of Ultimate Warrior. In the back, I see many potential legends, some with in their Warrior spirits. And you will do the same for them. You will decide if they will live with passion and intensity, so much so that you will tell your stories and make them legends as well. I am Ultimate Warrior. You are the Ultimate Warrior fans. And the spirit of Ultimate Warrior will run forever." -Ultimate Warrior (4-7-14).

Rest in Peace Warrior
I remember hearing about Macho Man's death and feeling sad. Wasn't a big fan of Warrior growing up (he passed by me...I was too young) but I still feel down. The kid in me hurts.
