I am also one who has fallen into the rabbit hole of old PPVs on the network. And yes, that theme is awesome! They performed it live at WrestleMania this year in NOLA, wearing Clockwork Orange masks. Very cool moment live.
Late reply, but yeah, that NXT show was absolutely amazing. It's like NXT is being booked very specifically for the "smart/internet" crowd, and the main TV product remains to be absolute horse shit. I really hope they can strike a good medium in the coming year.

Yeah, the main show has been shit for the latter half of the year. This past Monday was the first RAW I watched in a long time. Bryan probably delivered one of his career best promos the other night.
Randomly decided to watch the Royal Rumble last night.
First event I've watched in years. Enjoyed seeing Bubba Ray And DDP come out but the ending was still pretty awful. Triple threat title match was good despite being predictable as f*ck.

Payback sucked. The main event was sweet, in between the slow start and the botched pedigree. I cannot believe that Money In The Bank is coming to Columbus the one sunday of the year I cannot attend, Bonnaroo Sunday.
Being coerced into taking my younger cousin and some of his friends to the NXT Takeover special in Brooklyn, I have never watched NXT, any recommendations on matches or promos I should check out?

Got around to watching some NXT last night. Balor is cool. That Enzo guy is hysterical. Pretty entertaining stuff. Sounds like the show I am going to might be pretty good.
Yeah this one really sucks because he's been more active in recent years and appeared in (relative) good health. But he lived a hard, hard life and it's really surprising that he made it this long. In the last couple of months we've lost the two greatest talkers in the history of the business . I only got to see Piper twice live, but thankfully one was an amazing tease of a Piper's Pit that he did with Cena a few years ago that could have been a great catalyst to Cena finally turning heel, or at least beginning to. Great segment though.

That IC title match with Hitman though..

Awesome show to be at I'll bet! I still haven't been to NXT yet, but hopefully they will run a show Wrestlemania weekend next year that I can catch while I'm there.
I am attending a NXT show tonight against my will. I consider this a hostage crisis. If you are in the Memphis area tonight and see smoke signals, please come get me at Minglewood Hall. >
I bought the little man tickets for his 10th birthday, and we will be attending the SmackDown taping in Milwaukee on March 8th. Even ordered myself one of those New Day unicorn horns for the occasion.
