WTF, again? Why you always keeping KO off your lists?
I didn't know who to put him with! Unless they go with him and Zayn one more time, which I'm down for. Also fun fact, Owens is the only guy in WWE history to be in a match at every PPV during his first year in the company.

Only check in occassionally to see if they have evrr switched thing up and was very pleased to get online and see they gave it to KO last night. Turn Seth face, have him lose to KO at the next PPV and then set his sights on HHH at the Rumble.
The ten year old and his mother were rooting for Big Cass, and the boy's second choice was Roman. I was cheering for KO, of course, but cool with Seth if not.
It got bad when Owens eliminated Cass. Got more contentious when I was the only one cheering the return of HHH. And it certainly didn't help that my response to Roman's elimination was to run to the closet and grab my KO sign (medium: duct tape on black posterboard) that I still had from the spring SmackDown taping and started waving it around like a madman.
I'm lucky I didn't wind up sleeping on the couch last night. And I still reminded them both that Kevin Owens is champion first thing this morning.

You're a classic heel.
Fat beardy jerks named Kevin with a proclivity for wearing black, unite!
I thought Backlash was amazing. Main Event was great. I swear AJ can have a 4 star match with anyone. He made me like Ambrose and Reigns when he fought them. Kind of wanted the Usos to win the Tag Titles but good PPV.
Yeah, I really enjoyed Backlash (I did skip Miz/Ziggler and Wyatt/Kane, but I may watch them as I hear Miz/Ziggler was quite good). Dug the women's six pack match, I think the right person won... but damn, I just don't get Carmella. I hear from people she's pretty good, but she hasn't impressed me one bit. I think Alexa Bliss could be a pretty big star given time and a bit more experience, and Nikki Bella has to be one of the most improved wrestlers of the last few years. I loved the Usos' work as heels, and even though I'm really glad Rhyno and Slater won the titles, I thought it would have drawn more heat and worked better in the long term if Usos had won via nefarious means and sent Rhyno and Slater on the chase. That said, I've always been a fan of Slater's and always thought he was pretty underrated... great to see him get a serious push, great babyface in peril too. AJ vs. Ambrose was easily match of the night, and honestly one of my favorite WWE matches of the year so far. I think the tail end of the match could have used more selling from both guys, but a great finish for a heel title win. Again, I think this would have been a perfect time to attempt a double turn, and towards the end of the match when it spilled outside for a while, I thought that was where it was headed. Could've had Ambrose win uncleanly and gotten great sympathy towards AJ, whom the crowd is just dying to cheer for. But hey, as it was, it worked perfectly.
All in all, one of the better PPVs of the year so far.
Also, I happened to look into the "Hidden Gems" section of the Network and watched the long-thought lost Buzz Sawyer vs. Tommy Rich cage match from the early 80s. Of course, it didn't quite live up to the legendary hype, but it was a great, brief bloodbath with awesome selling even minutes after the match ending. The big thing I took away from this, and it's something I always heard but never got to see for myself until now, is that Tommy Rich was one of the most over babyfaces I've ever seen in my life. Granted, this is early 80s southern wrestling, so plenty of people in the audience still believed it like it was the god's honest real thing, but these people adored every little thing Rich did. Even moreso to my point, the crowd seldom booed Buzz Sawyer when he was working over Tommy Rich, unlike the effective heels of today getting booed for beating up on a beloved babyface... this was a case of the crowd sitting in silent, bated breath fearing for the well being of the babyface. They were scared for him! They didn't want to see him get hurt, and even though both guys were bloody messes by the end of the match, when Rich won the match seemingly hanging on death's door, the crowd went absolutely bananna, to quote Pat Patterson. I really hope WWE uploads more great stuff like this in the future.
I need to watch more NJPW, last show I watched in full was King of Pro Wrestling in 2012, with that amazing Tanahashi vs. Suzuki match. I have watched a good bit of New Japan and All Japan from the late 80s until the early 2000s, though... you know, the Misawa, Kawada, Kobashi golden age. One of my new coworkers is super into New Japan, and he's getting me caught up on the stuff I've missed in recent years. Honestly, my wrestling intake has been at its lowest since I first started watching for the last handful years, so I've got a lot of catching up to do.
Yeah I started watching for the first time since 2006 when I started again at Wrestlemania this year. And NJPW has had some insane matches this year. Look up Omega VS Naito in the G1 Semifinals. Match of the Year easily.

CWC was booked by HHH, when they get to Raw it's gonna be Vince and usually that means more stupidity. Last time they had cruiserweights on the main roster it basically just turned into one giant redneck joke about Jamie Noble. I have no faith it'll be any good and I doubt they'll get nearly as much time as they have been. Plus word has it Ibushi and ZSJ are done after Wed.

Alexander, Gallagher, Gulak, Kendrick, Neese, Tozowa, Ciampa, and Gargano have all been amazing and I think will still be around (edit: maybe not Gulak or Tozowa now that I googled it).
I'm actually a little bummed TJ and Metalik are still in it. I don't think either have been all that great, and if the rumors about Ibushi and ZSJ are true, one of them will probably win it.. Although a buddy of mine says TJ is the next HBK... I don't see it.
