Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
I heard that Unchained is going to be one of the surprise guests for the Superjam. Skrillex felt bad about playing against them the last time he was on the farm, so he is trying to make it up to them and their fans!
Maybe he'll do LN Which straight into the Superjam with people coming to join him at the end of his own set. Although that would mean at least a solid 3-4 hour block for him, but he could pop in and out of the superjam.
This is the first message board I've ever been on, the only reason I joined is because I love Bonnaroo and wanted to read and talk about it all year long.
as far as the superjam is concerned, the logistics of a bunch of other DJs rotating in and out kinda make my head spin (lulz). each individual turntable/pc setup would have to be on stage the whole time unless they figure out a roll on/roll off kind of thing and that's a lot of moving parts that can go wrong, not to mention a bunch of lengthy song gaps that don't really happen in live EDM so much. so I would guess primarily vocalists/traditional instruments, with maybe a couple other EDM acts at most. Jack White on drums doing a Travis Barker/DJ AM type thing would not make me sad though.

or, you know, one macbook, with a preset itunes playlist. then just have the guys take turns bouncing around behind a big table with fancy looking paperweights on it.
I'll second what a lot of you have said, I was stunned when his name showed up on BLAM, then when the Super Jam showed up, I was floored. I have seen Skrillex lots of times. First time in 2010 with about 80 people, at a club for $5. Then other times including his Roo show, which ended up being a great time after I was skeptical. I am very very intrigued about how this jam is going down.

As some others have previously stated, I plan on at least stopping by his Super Jam to check out what it sounds like and who the guests are. My interest is piqued even though I'm not an enormous fan.
If it's anything like the last time Skrillex played, you will be able to hear it from virtually anywhere on the farm

This post will probably echo the ones before it in this thread. Super surprised at both the Skrillex set and the superjam. I've been to a few shows years ago in smaller clubs and then kind of 'fell out' of the whole Skrillex thing. My husband still LOVES Skrillex so he was super happy to see his name on there at all. But I am SUPER intrigued at the thought of this super jam and it makes me happy! He's been doing this for a long time and has a lot of friends in various types of music. I also think that if anyone - he would know how to make this superjam 'work' and be really interesting. I keep telling myself that this is where we could see ELLIE GOULDING make an appearance if she plans on being in the states at the time (she does have a US tour going on until May). He also tweeted something about a new collaboration that he was working on but I don't remember who it was with (3 or 4 different names though)

Not a huge skrillex fan, but it'll be a fun set. Skrillex brings a lot of energy. I'm kind of hoping he plays right after kanye, or maybe a collaboration at the end of kanyes set. Won't happen, but it would be awesome.

Yeah, we watched about 40 minutes of his Which stage set two years ago before moving onto Gza, and we could still hear the bass throbbing at Gza until we worked our way up underneath the tent.
Skrillex was a shock for me I kept on hearing bass nectar was going to be the big EDM act this year...honestly I'm glad it's skrillex bass nectar would have been a good show I just personally think skrillex would be an even better show...didn't see him in 2012 had some friends who did and said it was a great night and to top off this year he's doing a superjam! I'm really happy with this years line up aside from skrillex there's a lot more good EDM acts that will keep me busy as hell this year
Saw Skrillex in 2012 and then in Nashville a few months later with Pretty Lights. I was at Bassnectar NYE this year and would loved to have seen him again at Bonnaroo this year...instead of Zedd or Kaskade. But what's a man to do? AC/Superfly must really have something in their back pocket to bring him back so soon and to throw in the superjam. Those are big honors.
You're just too young to grasp how stylin' I really was. All the boys wanted to do me when I was 5. Actually the girls did too. My haircut was confusing.

If I could go to Roo this year I wouldn't miss the Skrillyjam. It's going to be fascinating. Everyone rips on dudes like him for "just pressing play" or whatever, so there'd be no way I'd miss a set where he's required to improvise.
