If you're a fan of hip-hop and you haven't listened to him yet, DO IT. He's one of the most dynamic and interesting rappers that I've heard in a long time, and I'm looking forward to his set a lot. His songs are very musical and not abrasive at all - his latest mixtape, "Acid Rap", has a very College Dropouty feel to it. He can write a mean hook and has a terrific delivery. And he's so positive! The type of guy you can just tell is enjoying the hell out of rapping when he gets on the mic. Fits the Bonnaroo vibe very well. Check him out!

I'm fully expecting him to bring out James Blake/for James Blake to bring him out for Life Round Here and whatever else they manage to cook up between now and then.

Has anyone here actually seen Chance live yet? I was initially really excited to see his set. The other night I was watching a bunch of live performances from different artists, Chance looked horrible. Running out of breath, cant keep up with his lyrics, stopping in the middle of songs. I was a little disappointed. I'll still be there to check out his set, I'm just not really excited about it anymore. I just hope he has a live band with him.

He had a band with him at Coachella and seemed to have good energy. Weekend 1 of course, he cancelled weekend 2 because he was in the hospital. I'm wondering if any of the videos you saw have been more recent? That may have something to do with it.

My group will be coming from Die Antwoord. How packed is this show going to be? The hype for Chance is unbelievable right now. I bet it'll be stacked outside the tent.

I'll be doing the same. I really don't wanna dip out on Die Antwoord early but I need a spot for Chance.

I'm thinking it won't be that packed. I don't know how everyone is feeling about the SuperJam (moved to THAT tent from last years THIS tent) before this set, but Ice Cube & Disclosure followed by Skrillex & Die Antwoord should keep plenty of people away.
What bad luck that as soon as he's getting huge and gaining all this attention at festivals, he comes down with a recurring illness that is causing him to cancel performances. I really hope he's able to perform the rest of his scheduled shows.
