Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
We've got a very strong undercard this year, but admittedly I'm not familiar with a lot of the bottom half of the lineup. Who should we all be checking out?
Edit: it also might be good to mention what these bands sound similar to

Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.

I will mark the halfway point as The Wood Brothers, so:
Pusha T Polica Goat MS MR Ty Segall Sarah Jarosz White Denim Cloud Nothings King Khan & The Shrines Banks Caveman Classixx Allah-Las Haerts The Black Lillies Deafheaven St Paul & The Broken Bones
If you gave me a little guidance since I don't really know your taste in music, I could narrow that list down.

Need to?
Meshuggah Dakhabrakha GOAT Ty Segall White Denim Cloud Nothings King Khan Classixx Allah-Las DEAFHEAVEN Preatures
But that's just the beginning of a steallar undercard. There's HAERTS, St. Paul & the Broken Bones, Master Musicians of Jajouka, Thao & the Get Down Stay Down etc.
(1) Damon Albarn (2) Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds (3) King Khan & His Shrines (4) Ty Segall (5) Ms Lauryn Hill (6) Darkside (7) Kanye (8) Janelle Monae (9) Goat (10) Meshuggah.
Vintage Trouble stands out. They opened for the Who last year on at least some of their dates. I also saw them at Beale Street. They are blues rock. At Beale street the lead singer Ty Taylor came off stage and danced and sang with the crowd, which is kind of a difficult/muddy feat there.
I also listend to St. Paul and the broken bones for the first time the other day. Already have it on my playlist.
Big Sams Funky Nation is a NOLA jazz/brass/rock band. They put on a great show in 2008 (i think) when NOLA was featured at roo as a side indoor stage after Katrina. They also did a bunch of stuff in 2011(again I think) that was very interactive with the crowd. They did a show at pod 3/ Fakedown that was a surprise show. I've seen them in NOLA and it was a good show too.
Emoney serves more of a purpose than any of you, especially Nate, whose incessant, garbled ramblings are so mindless and pointless that I get depressed just seeing them.
I saw her open for Sharon Jones last week... amazing show... would make a great opening act for a tent on any day. Wouldn't be all that surprised if she was somehow included in the Bluegrass Situation this year...
You know if we combine all these lists, I think almost everyone is getting named. My advice is I take a saturday and sit down at my computer and look up and listen to every artist on the lineup. I kind of look forward to that every year, even if I'm not going, just because I find so many artists I never knew about that become a routine part of my listening.
There are also always the surprises at Roo itself that you just stumble upon. My suggestion is to try them all out yourself. If you're only looking at who we recomend, you may be missing someone you would really love.

My favorite is to just make a playlist with everything and anytime I'm in the car or walking somewhere with headphones, put that playlist on shuffle. Anytime I hear something I like and don't recognize, I take note.

Darkside The Lone Bellow (one of the most emotional shows I've ever seen, think Mumford+Integrity+WOW) First Aid Kit Pusha-T Cloud Nothings' first album was pretty cool
