It's fine to look at these, but y'all should know that there is very little we can actually forecast more than a week or so out. The chaotic effects inside the quantitative models go nutso (this is the technical term) beyond this point so depending on how this is predicted it may not be correct.
But I like to speculate about Roo weather as much as the next guy. So have at it if you want.

Oh absolutely - and then sometimes the forecast is still wrong lol. But life has shown me that I'm just as good at blind guesses as the weathermen, so we might as well try!
I'm ready. I made a redneck air conditioner yesterday out of a foam cooler, battery powered fan, duct tape, a gutter downspout, and ice. It really works! I'll be able to sleep in my tent until noon if I want to now...
All I need are some clouds and a breeze. The overcast skies have been amazing the past couple years.
We've been completely spoiled the last couple years. I have a sweet Bonnaroo 2012 blanket because it was so COLD in my tent one night.
I hope it's warmer than 2012. 2012 was so comfortable that I got too drunk every day- just because I could. I spent so much time sitting at Sonic with quacker and fawnmart drinking delish broo'ers beers and harassing passerbyers with Do No Harm gear.
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.

I don't see what the problem is here.
When you get too drunk to move and see any other tents or nap through an anticipated set, then you've got your issue. I was just too drunk in 2012.

I've only been to Roo the past two years - I really don't have a clue about how overwhelming the heat can get, do I?
Ha, ignorance is bliss, no?
It's not so much the heat, but the combo of heat and humidity. Moving to San Antonio from Houston is such a dramatic difference. The actual temps between the two cities is usually similar, but the humidity in Houston is stifling.
Fingers crossed the string of good weather continues!

edit: seriously though, you're totally right about hot weather making it easier to regulate yourself. it's waaay easier to slow yourself and/or sober up when it's insanely hot out.
Exactly. I mean, I wasn't a waste case- I wasn't stumbling or incoherent or anything, but I just think you miss out on a few things when you're lazily happy in your little spot.

2007 and 2011 were the hottest, dustiest years I've attended. 2010 didn't feel so bad until Sunday, when my friends and I couldn't drag ourselves from under the shade tent until almost 3 p.m. The last two years have been amazing, weather wise.
If we can't have perfect weather, I would really love a good non-thunderstormy rain. Have it pour down right at around 7 p.m. Friday and wake everybody up for the night time. Since I missed the early years, the only time with fun rain was 2008.

Why would you wanna sleep until noon your at Roo!!
If we could get a repeat of 2012 or 2013 weather that would be amazing. I usually cannot handle heat well but I've been fine the last two years on the farm. A little cloud, maybe a sprinkle or two of rain and we're good.
I become the obsessive weather tracker during the week leading up to Roo. I'll post my findings and analysis here when the time comes!

For the DIY weather forecasters out there, you can look at model outputs here: NCAR RAP
It's updated every 6 hours with weather balloon soundings, and these models are in real-time. This won't really be useful for Roo forecasts until around June 1st, but then you can pick your parameters, look at the model outputs, and make your own forecast.

I'm pretty sure I have permanent tan lines from 2011. Many frozen lemonades were consumed to survive that heat! Though, I'd take hellacious temperatures over a monsoon.

A couple in my Roo crew managed to sleep until noon on Sunday(?) in 2012. They woke up and came out of the tent and said something like, "Whow! We slept in! Must be like 9:00 or something already huh?!?" When they realized how late it was and that they'd miss someone that they had REALLY wanted to see open a tent... yeah they weren't happy!

I think I remember every night in 2012 I was very cold while I slept. Last year was perfect though, I would gladly take a repeat. My only other year was '07, so I've experienced the worst, from what I've read. As long as it doesn't rain for 4 days straight, I'll be fine.

The key here is to be just enough in your lazily happy space that your little spot can move wherever and then chill for a bit. I am bringing in a sweet little camp chair for this purpose this year. Standing is for the birds.
