Did it get dusty at all? I'm hearing some are still getting the "Bonnaflu"
It got a little dusty on Sunday, but nowhere near the levels of a dustaroo. It was worse around the tents and the area outside them.
Although this Saturday and Sunday was the hottest it has been in the past three years, it was still relatively mild compared to a "hot" year. And I absolutely cannot believe we've had three years in a row of absolutely perfect weather.

Yeah we really lucked out, especially on Friday. Seemed like every storm that tried to develop couldn't quite get started. The daytime high was something ridiculous like 73.

Great weather indeed! Even Thursday night's storm that was supposed to have lasted all night was only a few hours. I will say that last year was windier - last year we never turned on our fans. This year it wasn't always windy so it did feel hot! I agree that the volunteers took the hit of bad weather for us. I will start thinking good thoughts for next year's weather!

My wife went with me to the 'roo back when it was blistering hot, and since it's been much cooler the last three years, the same three years she didn't go, I've had to tell her it might not be a good idea for her to return because she could bring the hot temps back with her. ... By the way, I am slightly superstitious.
Yup, looks like once again we freaked out too early over the weather. It was hot by Sunday, but that could also just be me feelin' worn out. Three years in a row of great weather...I'm definitely worried 'bout next year!
No, it was definitely hotter than hell on Sunday. But like said above, it could've felt worse just because there was absolutely no breeze to cool you down. I felt bad freaking everyone out about the mud because it turned out to be such a non issue by Friday afternoon. FWIW though, I had valid reason for concern. That place was a total mud pit before everyone got there. Storms with 60 mph winds one night & 45 mph winds the next & it absolutely poured! I'm so happy we didn't have to deal with that during the fest because that would've been a nightmare.
The dust did get pretty bad by Sunday afternoon. Really, I had the bonnaflu by Thursday, but I'm not really sure how I quite managed that....

I said yesterday I'm already nervous about next year as we are due for a solaroo
