Maybe this is just me being awful, but I thought the finale was pretty boring, compared to the rest of the season. Still an awesome ride though, and I'm looking forward to season 3.

One of the best shows on TV. Definitely one of the best of the year. I love how contained it is. 10 episodes is perfect. Just finished it and man....I love that they had the happy family ending and not some sad "Lou is depressed about the death of his wife" ending that I was half expecting.
I have been watching this show over the last month. I'm a little less than halfway through season 2. Am I crazy in saying that this show is breaking bad levels of great? Season 1 was one of the best single seasons of television I've watched. I fell in love with Molly Solverson. I think it is badass that season 2 is the story that her father references when warning Molly about the kind of evil she is dealing with.

You're not crazy at all, it's fantastic!
I was skeptical because I loved the movie so much, but this show is top notch stuff.

I actually never saw the movie until just before starting the show. I was unsure how I felt about it. I really just couldn't stop feeling bad for William H Macy's character's son in the film. So, I am a much bigger fan of the show than the movie.
Finished both seasons. Hard to say which one I liked more. I thought for sure season 1, but 2 finished so strong. Kirsten Dunst gave the performance of her life as Peggy Blumquist.

Ewan McGregor is the latest feature actor to topline an installment of FX’s Emmy-winning anthology series Fargo. McGregor will play the two central characters — brothers Emmit and Ray Stussy — in the upcoming third season, which is supposed to be set closer to present day than the first two installments.
Emmit Stussy is the Parking Lot King of Minnesota. A handsome, self-made, real estate mogul and family man, he sees himself as an American success story. His slightly younger brother, on the other hand, is more of a cautionary tale. Balding and pot-bellied, Ray is the kind of guy who peaked in high school. Now a parole officer, he has a huge chip on his shoulder about the hand he’s been dealt, and he blames Emmit for his misfortunes.
McGregor is the first actor cast in the third installment of Fargo, which tentatively is scheduled to begin production later this year for premiere on FX in 2017.
The first installment of Fargo was headlined by Billy Bob Thornton; the second one starred Patrick Wilson and Kristen Dunst.
McGregor is starring opposite Jennifer Connelly and Dakota Fanning in the upcoming feature American Pastoral, set for a fall release, which also marks his directorial debut. Additionally, McGregor is in production on T2: Trainspotting 2. He is repped by UTA, United Agents in London and Sloane Offer.
Fargo hails from creator Noah Hawley, who executive produces with Joel & Ethan Coen, Warren Littlefield and John Cameron for MGM Television and FX Productions, with MGM Television serving as the lead studio.
Awesome! Can't wait. The casting for this show has been almost flawless so far.

Fargo has found its next leading lady.
The Leftovers' Carrie Coon is set to star in season three of the FX anthology opposite Ewan McGregor, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed.
Coon will portray Gloria Burgle, a practical woman who grabs the fire extinguisher when the bacon catches fire and everyone else panics. The chief of police in Edna Valley and a newly divorced mother, she struggles to understand this new world around her where people connect more intimately with their phones than the people directly in front of them.
As previously announced, McGregor will take on the dual roles of brothers Emmit and Ray Stussy in what will be his first TV series regular role.
Production on the third installment of Fargo is set to begin later this year for a 2017 debut on FX.
Season three of Fargo has been rumored to take place in 2010, following the events of the breakout drama's freshman season. It's unclear how or if it will tie into the events from the first run.
"None of the main characters from our first year will be back for our third year," Hawley told THR in December.
For Coon, the role comes after her breakout turn on The Leftovers, which earned her a Critics Choice award for best actress in a drama series in 2015, and a nomination for the same award the year prior. Her other credits include Gone Girl and the forthcoming thriller The Keeping Hours.

This 3rd season cast just gets better and better with each announcement.
FX has finalized the cast for its highly anticipated third season of Fargo.
Joining the cast of the Noah Hawley anthology are Michael Stuhlbarg, Scoot McNairy, Shea Whigham, Karan Soni, Fred Melamed and Thomas Mann, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.

It's unclear how or whether it will tie into the events from the first run, though none of the stars from season one will return. Ewan McGregor will topline season three and play the dual roles of brothers Emmit and Ray Stussy in what will be his first series-regular role.
Stuhlbarg (Boardwalk Empire) will play Sy Feltz, Emmit’s right-hand man and consigliere. McNairy (Halt & Catch Fire, 12 Years a Slave) is set as Maurice LeFay, a stoner with a criminal past. Whigham, who reunites with his former Boardwalk Empire co-star Stuhlbarg, will portray Meeker County chief of police Moe Dammick. Soni (Blunt Talk, Deadpool) will take on the part of scientist Dr. Homer Gilruth. Melamed (Casual, Lady Dynamite) is set as Howard Zimmerman, a mover and a shaker with a knack for spinning a yarn and making a profit. Mann (Me, Earl and the Dying Girl) rounds out the cast as Thaddeus Mobley, an award-winning science fiction author.
They join a cast that includes The Leftovers' Carrie Coon as Gloria Burgle, a practical woman who is the chief of police in Edna Valley and a newly divorced mother who struggles to understand this new world around her, where people connect more intimately with their phones than those directly in front of them; Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Nikki Swango, a crafty and alluring recent parolee with a passion for competitive bridge playing, and a woman with a plan who is focused on always being at least one move ahead of her opponents; Jim Gaffigan as a police deputy who works alongside Gloria; and David Thewlis as V.M. Vargas, a loner and true capitalist who delivers to Emmit, the Parking Lot King of Minnesota, the bad news that he has just become partners with his employers, whose business interests lay outside the law.

You know what’s better than one Carrie Coon show? Two Carrie Coon shows. You know what’s better than one Ewan McGregor? Two Ewan McGregors. Put them together, and you’ve got The Leftovers, which returns for its third and final season on HBO on April 16, and Fargo season three, which bows three days later, on April 19. Mystery Science Theater 3000 also comes back on April 14, so don’t expect to leave the house, or even your couch, for that week.
Here’s the official synopsis for season three:
Set in 2010, the third installment of Fargo centers on “Emmit” and his slightly younger brother “Ray Stussy” (Ewan McGregor). Emmit, the Parking Lot King of Minnesota, sees himself as an American success story, whereas Ray is more of a cautionary tale. Forever living in his more successful brother’s shadow, Ray is a balding and pot-bellied parole officer with a huge chip on his shoulder about the hand he’s been dealt – and he blames his brother. Their sibling rivalry follows a twisted path that begins with petty theft but soon leads to murder, mobsters and cut-throat competitive bridge. Carrie Coon stars as “Gloria Burgle,” the steady chief of the local police department. A newly divorced mother, Gloria is trying to understand the new world around her, where people connect more intimately with their phones than with the people around them. Mary Elizabeth Winstead stars as Ray’s girlfriend, “Nikki Swango,” a crafty and alluring recent parolee with a passion for competitive bridge. David Thewlis stars as “V.M. Vargas,” a mysterious loner and true capitalist whose bosses plan to partner with Emmit, whether “The Parking Lot King” likes it or not.
If the season is as great as the names (Gloria Burgle! Nikki Swango!), Fargo will, once again, be the best show on television.
Loved it, as per usual. I'd say last night's episode wasn't as thrilling as the S1 first episode and there weren't any characters as immediately awesome and terrifying as, say, Mike Milligan but it was still great. Varga (the English guy extorting Emmett Stussy) was disgusting and I have high hopes for him as a villain.
I want to know how they filmed the camera flipping down to the ground at the end of the episode. Every photographer I know would cringe at the idea of their camera whipping around on some sort of rig thirty feet off the ground.
Loved the Lebowski reference with the failed joint flick out the window.
Great season premiere. I'm more excited by this first episode than I was by last season's, but not as much as the first season. Not a whole lot to say just yet, but my expectations are high with this one.

I realized during the premiere last night that the thing that makes me love this show more than most is it's ability to consistently create laugh-out-loud moments of quirky, dark humor. This episode was a little bit more of a slow burner than the last two season premieres, but I feel like S3 has the potential to be the best season yet. Once again it looks like they've put together a pitch-perfect cast.
Incredibly well-made, but not quite as compelling as s1 or s2 openers. Ewan McGregor's duel performance was great. Mary Elisabeth Winstead's character seems awesome as well. So happy this show is back.
Lots of things I'm curious about that may or may not come back into play. Like the East Berlin interrogation opening. Or the books that were in the metal box under the floor.
From a directing standpoint, this season has been incredible so far. I loved the use of the Peter and the Wolf music in the last episode.
Really loving the slow development of Vargas. Really curious to see what his endgame is here and as to why he must violently puke his guts up after every meal.
I've started watching the third season, and it's all right so far, but as someone who lives in the in the city this season takes place in, I just want to let everyone know how much it bothers me that all these characters take the backroads when they're driving when it would be infinitely more efficient (and safer in the dead of winter!) to just drive on the highway.
