But they also released nearly the entire lineup for the two weeks leading up to June 18th. By then we knew almost the entire lineup. That and the fact that Chad Smith basically divulged that they were playing it.
I hope it comes out soon. MM is during my anniversary weekend (at least given the assumed dates) and I need time to con convince the husband that Atlanta is the most romantic place to spend our first wedding anniversary.
Went ahead and reserved a room at the Regency Suites Hotel. Nice place fairly close to Piedmont Park (about a 20 min walk) and cheaper than the W or Hyatt hotels. Really hoping The Cure is booked for the festival!

The only thing that matters in this year's potential lineup is Outkast. I've seen them twice so far this year and I'm already fiendin' for another performance. If they don't do Atlanta this year, it'll be a travesty. Give it to me, Midtown. Give it to me.
They should just do it ATL style big time and have REM get back together for one night and Outkast the other night.
THIS WOULD BE AWESOME. Damn. I need this weekend off. It would be so crazy being able to hop on Marta and go to a music festival. I've always lived or worked in close proximity of Piedmont Park but Music Midtown never got weird enough for me. Nothing would stop me from seeing Outkast in Atlanta though, lol I would literally quit my job.
I just decided that if Outkast is announced I'm going to sell my single day Forecastle ticket and just go to MM instead.
Go ahead and sell it now,
ALSO, Darius Rucker goes from Alabama on the 18th to Tennessee on the 20th. Probably just a coincidence but still. Also Kasabian starts going north on September 26th so a MM stop wouldn't be surprising. Afghan Whigs have an Atlanta date on the 19th. Probably cancelled Music Midtown. St. Paul and The Broken Bones have been mentioned before, look at their dates. Very likely. Social Distortion and Metric are at Riot Fest so they could but maybe not.

Flaming Lips look likely with their tour dates. But I can't help thinking there's a reason they aren't gonna be there. I feel like I'm forgetting something.
If you have a friend that is passing out free VIP bracelets, yes. We drank a lot of booze but I don't think it's possible to drink/eat $500 worth. So I would say no.
I would actually love this. I think a lot of people are already over her or didnt like her in the first place but I'm still on board with her mainstream weirdness haha
