It looks like One Music Fest may have landed Kanye West. That's going to be a crazy 3 week stretch of hiphop for Atlanta. They released their lineup poster today with half of the names blacked out. The blacked out name in red below Amel Larrieux looks to be Kanye.

Where did you see that poster? All I can find are normal posters, If this fest got Kanye I doubt they'd save that info for phase 2
One of the covered names looks just like Kanye west. Like no way it's anyway else. But it's a good move to keep creating big buzz not just the same old news. It's on their facebook

I doubt that they would save Kanye for round 2 of announcements as well. The fact that he wasn't announced worries me that it isn't him, but I don't see who else it could be. The first 3 letters of the first line clearly look like a KAN and the bottom four letters clearly look to be WEST. It would be smart for them to release the names soon since they have major competition with Imagine Fest, Music Midtown, the Outkast shows and Tomorrowworld all happening around that same time. I guess the Outkast shows are really their only head to head competition while the other events could steal a few people away.
Ticket prices did increase by a sizeable amount this year along with them moving the event to Aarons' so I would think that they have a higher amount to spend on artists. The artists announced yesterday don't seem to reflect this which leads me to believe that they blew their load on Kanye. The top 2 rappers as of now are Nas and Redman & Method Man. I would think the cost for these would be similar to last year's Snoop and Goodie Mobb.
Kanye is in Australia on the 13th so it's not him. That's super sneaky though, who else could it be?
Well damn. I just bought two of the reserved seats and then I see this right after. I should have researched it more before. Those letters better come out looking the same when the full poster is released.

It obviously says Kanye West so I have no idea why they would put that for him not to be there. I'm not arguing he's gonna be there; it just seems stupid.

It does look like Kanye's name, but it would be a huge leap for this festival, and doesn't seem logical or likely.
So you think they announced their initial lineup without Kanye's name, and that he'll be an addition later on? And you think Nas will be billed higher since his name is in a larger sized font, and at the top and center of the poster? And you think Kanye will be part of a small one day festival where he'll play a venue (Aaron's) half the size of the venue (Phillips Arena) that he usually plays in the same city?

to be fair though, ZBB was originally above Jack White on the Music Midtown poster. But I think it'd be a good idea to keep creating buzz like that. Constantly generating big names could turn out well for them.

Bigger venue for OMF is what I meant. But the poster obviously saying Kanye West isn't a shitty assumption. But past Nas it doesn't seem like anyone is that expensive. They posted something about Kendrick not too long ago so I'm hoping for him. He doesn't seems like his name is on the poster but I'm not sure what the poster means anymore.
